Soooo... what did you notice different?

I think the back cover has a list of all the new stuff, but I don't remember where I put the Blu-ray. If I find it I'll scan it for this thread.

I think it made more sense this time around? I felt less confused and I think the whole "king medals" were a bit better explained.

I wish they would've made it from the defeat of Kazari to episode 48 because that would've been awesome. But I guess they can't because of cost?

Is commentary supposed to be in the file? If so, is there any way to remove it?

Use a media player that isn't WMP.

Ah, thank you. To think the simplest answer eluded me. Much obliged.

There should be an option to select the stream you want to hear. Try right clicking the video and exploring what pops up in the menu under "audio"

Just curious, is the original audio 2.0, or did you downmix 5.1? I had always thought KR/SS was broadcast with a 5.1 mix, but if the BluRay is 2.0, that certainly shatters that impression.

PS Loving the 1080P

the episodes are 2.0, as far as I know only the movies are released with 5.1 on the Blu

does seem strange in this day and age to do that

Well damn, but thanks for the info. And I do agree, it's weird that they'll shoot a CGI-heavy effects show in 1080P, but won't do a 5.1 audio mix.

For some reason I find this version of OOO's ending to make more sense. In the original ending, I find the ending meaningless but for some reason this ending is damn meaningful and interesting to me

Seems like Date is more involved in this story than he had hoped for, almost everyone seem to acknowledge his return. I always find his character to be both mature and immature at the same time, perhaps the immature part is just an attempt to make the rest of the characters relax

Ankh is the best Greeed or human character in this series. At first I thought of Ankh as a typical jerk who is trying to give others problems but as the series progress, we learnt that he is incapable of normal human senses or normal human emotions and therefore Ankh is actually the real sufferer with the problems. He has also changed to become more human and not just a Greed in his behavior throughout the story
