2010-11 - Kamen Rider OOO (Was: Unknown new rider?!)

You guys are all wrong, the next Kamen Rider series is going to be New Den-O. It might be a half series like Decade, it might be a full series, but I know they're probably considering it.

I would agree with that, as a matter of fact. Chou Den-O as a series has been talked about for awhile. Seems like the timing would be right.

EDIT: I think the above rider looks too Showa era at the moment.

Not Chou Den-O, New Den-O. He has the potential, plus the fact that he is a Den-O and one of his forms requires Deneb allows for plenty of Den-O characters to appear.

Catalogue Pics should go out in a few days to some retailers, but we won't be getting a look at those until at least August.

It says right there "Kamen Raida Gojira", and if you know your Kaiju, you'll know Gojira is the Japanese name of Godzilla, so yeah. It's a fanwork, obviously.

Right, except the kanji on the pictures themselves say hawk/falcon, tiger, and grasshopper. I don't know who wrote those kanji so it might be complete bullshit, but the coins and the chest pics do look like the alternate forms are a tiger and a grasshopper. I know the head looks kind of like Gatack in insect form, but I'm guessing those are more like antennae than mandibles

It only looks like a lion on the pic that says "this is a picture of what I imagine it will look like"

While that post did use about two of the pics we've seen before, the rest are very obviously fan productions. Of course the original ones could have been too. I'm just saying that while there is a great deal of doubt on the original picks, these are cast in even more doubt. I mean, they didn't even really follow the belt theme of the first set of pics, and since that is the source of all the riders powers, you'd think they would pay more attention to that. (i.e. all the original ones contained the slight twist 'traffic light' look, the new ones just look like a flat buckle with three circles there only for ornamentation)

To me the worst case scenario would be a New Den-O series. Now don't groan you Den-O lovers, I'm not jumping on the hate wagon (though I've made my feelings clear before) but I would just like something different. I mean, if they did a new rider and a New Den-O series like on the side in parallel, I'd be ok with it. Even if it were a New Den-O series I'd probably still watch it. Hell Den-O could probably be its own franchise and we'd get a new den-O series every year and that'd be fun too. But yeah I'm hoping one of these rumored designs is close to the truth.

Yeah and I think a lot of the early designs tend to be close to or fairly right to what the next rider is. I remember a lot of the Decade pics sharing common themes.
