Yeah. Not to mention that "La" seems to be the prefered romanization for other forms that use the Lion Head.

I was going to mention that. All the stuff I could find on those web pages used La. Kind of makes sense if they used 'Lion', although I'm still confused as to why its 'La' and not 'Li' lol.

The phonetic spelling of "lion" in Japanese is "ライオン" (raion) because "i" in Japanese has a long e sound (think of the sound of "green" or "cream"), so if it was spelled "リオン" (rion) it would sound more like "leon"

Not to burst your bubble, but the last post before yours was done prior to the introduction of said Candroid, so technically it didn't exist yet.

Tora is cool, despite its 1 use so far. I wondered if the chest medal animal would be used for a bike attachment for each combo, but that was nixed with the Gorilla candroid. Even then, I suppose it would have forced usage repercussions.

i'd have to say my favorite combo is LaToraTa because of the music, GataKiriBa comes second and SaGoZo in third. makes me wonder what the other combos are called?

well, i'm not gonna spoil names for full color combos, like the red and blue ones, but for random combos, here's the formula:

head:
taka - stays taka
kuwagata - becomes gata
lion (pronounced raion) - becomes La or Ra, depending on personal preference
Sai - becomes Sa

chest:
tora - stays tora for all combos that aren't TaToBa
kamakiri - becomes kiri
gorilla - becomes gori
unagi - becomes u

legs:
batta - becomes ba
cheetah - becomes tah
zou - becomes zo

that's all the medals OOO has used so far in TvN releases.

so, for example, you could have TakaKiriZo, or SaUBa, etc.

Main Combo: GataKiriBa, RaToraTa, and TaJaDoru.
Random Combo: TaKiriTa, RaKiriBa.
Candroid: Taka and Tako.
