Another thing that bothers me is how Birth system works.
Does the drill/crane etc weapons just come out randomly when Date turn the belt thingy?

Actually, Birth just goes through a certain sequence. I think there's one episode where Date kind of scrolls through the sequence to get the one he wants

My own explanation to these things
TaToBa gets a special song because it's the most balanced form of all (head just for sight, no special powers, claws for normal attack, legs for jumping)

The head changed in TaJaDor because the combo is more compatible with the OOO driver

Anyway, if this was able to keep you up at night, how did you sleep after watching Kiva, take? XD

TaJaDoru is a special combo for whatever reason. Maybe because Ankh is a special Greeed. The chestpiece forms a complete image instead of three smaller ones, and the head changes some. I don't think it's an inconsistency, rather, I suspect it will be explained later on. It's kinda weird, but I like it.

I actually wonder if there's some sort of TaToBa conspiracy going on, since Ankh (Taka), Kazari (Tora), and Uva (Batta) are currently the only Greeed left in the game.

I'd be confused by the Taka head thing, but then again the Fang memory changed the Joker half slightly. The Kukaju section also gets its own weapon (or shield thing), so it's probably for the sake of looking slightly more majestic.

Oh yeah, and my theory with TaToBa that I came up with back when we first discovered that only TaToBa and Full Combos got a jingle was that, because it was the first combo scanned, it got special mention....or something. Weak, I know. Maybe there's some significance to TaToBa in the story universe that we aren't aware of yet.

Yeah but that shield is in every form that uses Kujaku just like the tiger has the claws and the kuwagata has the arm blades. It's just Taka's head that changes for that one specific form

Edit: Wait, if Tajador form's chest thing forms a giant picture, does that mean Kujaku and Condor don't have heads in the symbol by themselves?

Yep. But seeing as the OOO driver is from the "mystic" category i won't expect it to work logically and consistently. Magic always finds a way to make something random. Even tho... I think we'll find our answers sooner or later... after all this isn't Decade.

As for Taka's head changing in TaJaDoru combo, let's just mark it up as the Combo of the Red Cores allow the full power to exceed the standard and with a lot of power, forces the form to change. After all, when Mezool gained a lot of power from Gamel's Cells and Cores, her form changed drastically as did Gamels when he took in Mezool's Cores.

As for the reason why TaToBa gets its own jingle: let's just listen to Ankh and "Don't worry about the song."
