I'm kinda torn between liking it and not liking it due to the blatant 1000 all over the episode. I liked all the fake movie stuff with Date yelling, Chiyoko kept using actress while trying to cheer up Gotou and then her acting as the scientist, and Maki being the Shinigami was awesome. The Shocker Yummy faints when someone is grilling squid was funny. I wonder if those two girls are part of the Rider Girls group.

I don't think so; I checked who's in that group and I didn't see any of the actresses' names there.

Btw, one of those two girls is Megumi from KR Ryuki.

I was all but snickering as Kougami went old school with the box... And in full Ishinomori art style!

Overall, it takes a bit to get over the whole 4th-wall breaking thing, but not too bad.

I'll admit, Dr.Maki played the shinigami role well while Chiyoko overdid her role(s) xD
Plus the Yummy made me chuckle a bit, especially how it reacted to the squid. Either way, great ep...just a bit too much i guess ^;

HURRAY! Maybe this will be an important change in the actual storyline XD

I liked this episode, and I got really excited with the whole 1000 on the cell medal, the count the episodes, the movie opening, Kougami's new single, Satonaka's 'stache, Let's Go Rider Kick playing, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed that they added when the rider series took place into the OP. Maki was hilarious, and Date going STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART! every time cracked me up. At first I thought the rider chicks were wataru and someone else (mostly because of the jacket)

i loved the episode. i like when a show can be self aware and break the 4th wall from time to time.

i also liked how it moved the story along but didn't take it self so serious.

the rider girls confused me. im sure they are ladies from previous series, i just didnt recognize them too much.

This ep was bizarre. I wasn`t expecting it to be a normal episode with metalanguage in it...

In the end it was good in a Den-O way. Funny characters doing funny stuff, but with a poor plot and lame battles.

I don't know what that part with the two girls was about...

And dude, that version of Let's Go Rider Kick by the rider idol group is terrible. They ruined it.

They reused the BGM from when G-Den-O was introduced when the Shocker people where introducing themselves. Not that I mind, its pretty sweet.

I wasn't really feeling it this week. Hopefully next weeks is good and lives up to being the 1000th, rather than something tacky.

Also, not to be nitpicky, but that guy was talking about 1000 kajin being killed. Current trends are usually one every two weeks. Usually, so it'd be less than 1000 lol.
