Pretty nice moment when Ankh and Eiji clash.

I also liked the looks on everyone's faces when Ankh and Uva walked in the door. What has Kazari and the rest been doing for all these episodes?

Eiji's phrase about being prepared is:
Sonae areba urei nashi! 備えあれば 憂いなし!

Kazari, Mezool, and Gamel haven't really done anything recently. I wonder how they will react when they find out that Maki is going to destroy them at the end. I really wonder what was Uva's plan if Ankh didn't help him gather Cell Medals to reform his body which I like how Ankh managed to deflect his true intention of the Yummy from Eiji and Gotou. Speaking of the Yummy, the parent is still depressed since everyone is happier than him. I guess he doesn't get a life lesson from Eiji since it's nearly at the end.

Hina is probably the wild card in all of this since there has been so much time devoted to her inner struggle on what to do. Satonoka's battle outfit in this episode was very nice. I really like how she, Gotou, and Eiji are able to work very well as a team. When Kougami said that he didn't want the Core Medals to be destroyed, I initially thought that was a crazy thing but thinking about it more, I came to the conclusion that the purple Medals would not only destroy the Greeed but everything else since nothingness is its goal. So the Birth system might be humanity's only way to come out all this alive in some form.

Well said there. The Greeed haven't really done much apart from Ankh and Uva. As for Hina, I can see how much she's suffering deep down, figuring out what's right for her. Kougami saying the core medals shouldn't be destroyed did catch me off guard, but Phoenix made a good, valid point. Albeit crazy as it may sound, the purple medals could lead the world to its doom if left unnoticed. Overall, great episode as always. I feel that judging by the pace, we may get a ending similar to Kamen Rider Blade if you think about it. Again, we can only wait and see what happens.

Still don't know why Ankh needs Shingo's body. Unless all Greeed use the bodies of other people, which doesn't seem to be the case, as shown with Uva.

Uva is finally back and we finally have Ankh as an antagonist.

Don't know if Maki will let Ankh have his medals.

And we still don't know why the foundation needs the medals. I hope they don't need to move things too fast now that we're near the end.

I thought it was a bit of a cop out needing to fuse with Shingo, I liked him as a character and hoped he would stick around some more.

And I'm not sure why Kazari would be scared. Did he give Mezool and Gamel their medals back and loose his extra power that I missed?

And yay for Uva. I like Uva.

I have a feeling Hina is gonna be the last minute save for Eiji. We still don't have her strength explanation. Sometimes I wish Eiji would just turn into a greed. He looks like he can control them now. And when we saw the what if future, with Maki. He can reform his human appearance. If Eiji can retain his mind, there is no loss to becoming a greed (that's complete). Eiji could also be a unique greed. Since his desire is the world. He wouldn't harm anyone.

Destroying chibi Ankh and getting real Ankh: 3 red core medals.

Providing Uva a body: Hundreds of Cell Medals.

Seeing Kazari's face when Uva and Ankh came into masion: Priceless

There are thing you can't bought off for everything else there is MedalCard :P

Man, I would really not want to be Kazari right now... Two guys he was sure were dead just walked in, and his only allies are the two who joined him out of a want to survive.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Kazari's face and his slight tumble up the stairs when the 'dead' guys walked in was priceless. Gamel, still eating everything is unfazed by this.

As for the Red VS Purple at the beginning, that was really nice. I really want to see a Greeed-Maki VS Greeed-Eiji near the end.

Next Episode:

Spoiler
KAZARI COMPLETED!? Oh noes! It looks like his hair will use "Tentacle Rape" on everyone.

I feel like Ankh is still hiding something. Maybe something else happened back when the original OOO betrayed him. I feel like he is a bit mad at Eiji for destroying his medals but's if anyone knows Ankh, there is ALWAYS a trick up his sleeve

Love this episode. The awesomeness of the trio combo; Eiji-Gotou-Satonaka! One of the best scenes in this episode was Satonaka answer of being early and Eiji's reaction to that. She's getting more and more screen time now. And yes, Cakeboss did mentioned that the purple medals that need to be destroy.

Wish Ankh got a side project or two instead of just being the medal container. And that Doctor-boy let him joining, taking the risk of being manipulate/betray by Ankh later. Joining with the Greeed team is the only way to infiltrate the enemy base, but this is only just my thought, pay no mind to it.

Hm... I'm agree with unexplained Hina's strength. I bet her punch must be as deadly as Rider Punch. Really like to see her slapping somebody face. Back to the episode, I think she figured that by always be at Eiji's side, she can prevent Eiji from being berserk/consumed by the purple Medals.

Preview :
Spoiler
The OOO team and Greeed team standoff! And Kazari full revival? Maybe all the Greeed too, excluding Maki and Ankh.

Well first of all, Ankh can't fully revive, therefore he can't sustain a body. Aside from probably using Shingo as a bargaining chip in order to coax Eiji of the purple medals, I believe the real reason is because supposedly the Greeed have one common desire aside from their own: To experience human senses (i.e. touch, smell, taste, hearing, and seeing). Ankh probably wanted to take Shingo's body because iirc in ep 41-42ish, Eiji comments about Ankh never being able to taste how delicious food was, and how happy he seemed to be (I know it may not be totally accurate, and I need to really practice memorization skills in general, but that's how it sounded at least from what I remember), hence he didn't wanna give up feeling sensations he never experienced since his creation. Again, this is just my theory and you're all entitled to believe or not believe. But it would sorta make sense don't you think?

I mentioned in the previous thread that, even though Dr. Maki brought up that the human senses will eventually be something the Greeed will seek after, especially once they fully revive, it's not something they're actively trying to get on purpose as of right now. Maki only theorizes that this is something the Greeed will try to get once they become complete, an event that won't satiate their desire, and so they will soon afterwards lean towards the human senses, described by Maki as the only way to feel a sense of fulfillment. All of this will result in the Greeeds "devouring" the humans in order to accomplish that.
