Priceless.
If they ever try to say TN doesn't have a right to do subs you can point to this as tacit support.

When I saw the post, I said to myself "Oh S*&t!". I agree that you guys are big time. It just shows that Bandai acknowledges TV Nihon's work and appreciated it. I hope that they see it immediately and have it removed on the official tvc.

Re: TV-Nihon's Hit the Big Time!
Shouldn't we be concerned?
It'd be a stretch to think that none of the copyright holders on either side of the pond are aware of fansubbers, but what if someone high up on one of the totem poles at Bandai, Toei, or Saban that wasn't aware of them before suddenly decides to get on the warpath?
From what I've heard about Haim Saban, I could totally see him coming after you guys. I don't think there would be a lawsuit (for damages, anyway), but someone might still try to shut you down.

Always been a concern but I think it's pretty obvious they're aware of the fansubbing community and have been for quite some time. Hopefully we can continue this willful ignoring.

I think that it'd be pretty silly to be concerned about this 11-12 years into doing this?
Also, don't listen to Luna. She has the Movie Thief guys in her sig!

Toei doesn't really mind foreigners torrenting their shows probably. More viewers means more fans which means they made a killing off ranger key sales in all likelihood.
Case in point they did nothing about Kamen Rider V3 fansubbing until Generation Kikaida released a DVD set of the show.

The fun has been doubled.

It's a YouTube video capture of a television. How can you tell? (Inception joke goes here)Lunagel wrote:Quality's too good, gotta be a download
