this episode was truly epic for me the point when i couldn't stop laughing was the scene with Jealousit and Insaan under sakura tree, wearing high school uniforms. i mean... REALLY?

I think everything that I found hilarious/bizarre/frightening has already been pointed out, so I'll just add a big "ditto" to the previous posts rather than type the same stuff out over again.

I find myself regretting that I've never sat down to watch Carranger. I feel like there were probably series specific inside jokes that went over my head. Oh well. Seems like a crazy series.

Anyone else think there might have been some good-natured teasing in Jinnai's real-life household that his wife didn't get to appear in the Dekaranger episode?

I thought Navi became a Go-On Engine on the dream sequence, turns out I was wrong.
Before I thought Power Rangers: Turbo were from Turboranger; it seems like the Gokaiger also mistook Turboranger for Carranger.

Before I thought Power Rangers: Turbo were from Turboranger; it seems like the Gokaiger also mistook Turboranger for Carranger.

That was more of a joke on that the two shows share a lot of the same staffers than referencing Power Rangers.

This episode was so freaking hilarious!
From what I read about "Gekisou Sentai CarRanger", it was the spoof of the Sentai series. It took everything that the Senshi have done up to that point: pose, henshin, what-not: and broke the 4th wall with everything they had: kitchen sink, monkey wrenches, bad guys.

The reason for this was because of the previous series: "Chouriki Sentai Oh-Ranger". It was a Sentai series that was seen as 'too serious'. And what is the polar opposite of 'too serious'? In short: CarRanger.

So, with that knowledge of the series, I was actually expecting everything that happened. Truly genius work on this episode.

Oh man oh man oh man, I haven't watched Carranger, but I have a feeling this topped the Deka tribute*.
Also, while I knew this episode was the carranger episode beforehand, I couldn't help but think of Go-onger with that opening scene.
Hard not to with a cgi animated bird-themed race car.

So, the sixth shows up. And he is a DiEnd type, summoning rangers. I guess it'll take at least two eps before he joins, since he seems to show up as a rival. But man, too much make up. The guy looks like a crossdresser.

A privateer... Maybe there will be a kind of Shichibukai?
