Oh my gawd... I actually get the references in this one! It's a good job I'm actually watching Jetman.

Gai Yuki's first lines here are the same as his first lines in Jetman. Awesome.
I was really excited for Gai meeting Gai... Oh well, perhaps another day.

Man, Gai Ikari was way to excited about Jetman. Can't blame him though, Jetman is awesome.

Cuz he's Yuki effing Gai.

I have two theories as to why Ikari couldn't see Yuki:
-The episode is so serious and heavy, someone needs to play a comic relief role in order to maintain a sense of balance.
-Since Yuki's purpose was to teach the Gokaigers courage in the face of danger and Ikari already went 8 rounds with a box truck, there's no point in appearing to him.

it makes me think that Ikari Gai is also dead... becausethe three fallen Sentai Warrior appeared before him and they gave him his GokaiCellular, it's like maybe he's dead and can't see other fallen people and he's on a limited lifespan like Burai?

I personally thought it was because Jetman didn't have a 6th member. I don't why I think that, and i really don't have any facts to back that up, but put simply I just do.

I really love Jetman. This was an awesome episode. it's like wow...this series is just mind blowing awesome.

Momotaros Fett was definitely the first thing I thought when I saw the MOTW.

I feel "Hade ni kita~" needed better translation. Not sure to what, but it has to be something. Same thing with Silver's interrupted catch-phrase.

I think so too. It's hard to justify having him take part in the lesson when he can't change into a Jetman with the others.

I felt this episode was important for establishing Marvelous' leadership role. As the leader, he couldn't let his fears get in the way of his responsibility towards the others.

Don and Joe tangled up on the ground is the stuff fanfiction dreams are made of.

I'd like to add that Yuuki Gai plays the sax on the original Jetman series, and he still has the same characteristics from the original series.

I was just watching the episode, up to the scene with Gai's grave, and I recognized who gave the instant noodle soup and the basket of vegetables...

Yuuki Gai is still the one of the manliest Sentai member of all.

I guess the "Gai is from our dimension" theory is thrown out the window with this one, since he didn't know that the other Gai was dead. That bit about Raita selling veggies over the internet also seems to support this, since it was never established until now.

I really do hope that there's a reason Ikari couldn't see Yuki, not just to establish the fact that he's invisible. His own theory that it's because he's human does make sense when you consider the fact that a lot of humanoid aliens in Super Sentai have psychic powers of some sort, which might be the only reason the others could see the ghostly Yuki. Whatever the reason is, if there is one, I'm sure it'll tie into his back story.

They're doing Abaranger after all?!?! Maybe we'll get Zyuranger too! I wouldn't say no to a Timeranger ep, I've been enjoying that one so far as well. I'm just still hoping they'll find time to squeeze in Dairanger, preferably with a grown-up Kou.

Does this mean that Gokaiger 29 won't be released until the 19th?

Thought the episode had an interesting vibe and some of the scenes were really like done like the flashback scenes with Marvelous but like some of the other guys I thought that more could have been made of the villan but Gai was pretty awesome and now I really want to watch Jetman.

The only problem was that some of the scenes just felt to jar (read that as most of the scenes with GokaiSilver) it just didn't fit the tone they were going for, but I do like the idea that he's dead it would lead to an interesting angle on the series but I suppose only time will tell.

This episode just reeks of Yuuki Gai and Jetman, and a great tribute to the series. I'm glad Toshiki Inoue pulls through for one of his best works.

LOL at Ikari Gai singing the Jetman theme song there. Kinda fourth wall breaking XD.

I love how Yuuki Gai had his first and last lines from the series are here. The bench was the place he died after talking to Red Hawk.

"Yeah. It's the blue sky we protected."

I was kinda hoping that at one point Luka would go offscreen to look for boulders and throw them at Kiaido LOL. She got Yellow Owl's strength, after all.

I liked this ep. and I found it funny that Gai suddenly couldn't see a dead person.

I just have one question pressing on my mind. Is it just me or does the bounty hunter look like an all red Boba Fett?
