Go-Busters 44 released

Pretty good episode as one would expect from Christmas with the Go-Busters.

Some stuff I noticed while making the wiki:

Almost all the Messiah Cards are accounted for. 13 is the only one left unknown.

This is the first time the main three Busters pilot Go-Buster Lioh. And it's an amazing little touch, because it plays such a big part in this episode since they have the antivirus program. I guess it goes to show how an unmanned Megazord would be useless against Messiah. They can blow Messiah up, but he'd just combine with some other inanimate object unless he's purified with the antivirus. It seems like a weird thing to realize this far into the series.

Hiromu broke his mask again? This has to be at least the second or third time.

The inspirational speech at the end is par for the course. I just wish he didn't look straight into the camera when he did it.

Megazord Zeta was 44.5m tall. Messiah Rebuilt is 960m tall. It looked like he absorbed a few Enetron Tanks in the area where he was. Also... is that an Enetron Tank that he's using as his right hand? I like how he's red since they've been hinting that with the Messiah Metaroid body parts and come to think of it, isn't his skull and the subdimension red?

Frog appeared so this is our yearly movie tie-in episode. Will we release our movie in time for this release? Only you, the viewer in the future will know for sure. It'd be really good if we can release this by Christmas at least.

I think this episode features all the mecha combinations in the series.

Glad to see a guest appearance by Hiromu's sister.

I really enjoyed this episode. The whole thing with Nick telling Hiromu that his parents entrusted him with much more than just a mission was a moving scene.

So Messiah betrays Escape. Expected, but whatever.

The mecha fight was really nice. The appearance of the Frog did surprise me though.

Watching Kuroki go "Yeah!" after Hiromu and the others defeated Messiah was pretty funny. I did laugh there.

Jin hitting on Hiromu's sister was pretty funny. It's even more weird how Nick is acting protective over her instead of Hiromu.

Glad we had that little recall in why Ryuuji recognized that teacher somewhere. That was a nice touch.

I think it's always been implied that Nick has a crush on Hiromu's sister. They've established that he's pretty obsessed with her.

I'm also noticing the lack of screen time Hiromu's sister gets. She made a few cameos here and there but we really didn't see her a lot at all so far. She's like Yamazaki-san from MagiRanger.

Huh? That's a weird thing to say. I don't see why you felt the need to mention that.

It was more of a response to RS's post on how she gets little screen time.

On a side note, looking at Messiah Rebuilt, is there a skull motif I'm missing? He was a floating digital skull in the early part of the series. Zeta had a skull on its torso. But Rebuilt doesn't seem to have any resemblance to a skull.

Wait, Enter has two cards in him? 04 and 07? He only had 04 in him, as revealed in episode 42.

Wait, Enter has two cards in him? 04 and 07? He only had 04 in him, as revealed in episode 42.

07 is the card that fused with Escape's Parabolaroid that Enter stole, the one with Masato's data fragment on it.

I have a feeling J already knows that Enter survived, and isn't saying anything because no one has asked him (as is his style). He was able to sense the data fragment when it was still in card form, I think he would have sensed it being destroyed.

From the profile on Messiah Rebuilt that I skimmed from TV-Asahi's page, his design is based on the Messiah body that was in the subdimension. The hands and head were the modified Teleportation Research Center that was there.

Hopefully the finale will be just as entertaining as this episode. I'm surprised by how much action was packed into this episode despite the lack of suit battles.

My favorite part has to be J nonchalantly sipping Enetron.

That's probably the same damn reindeer costume he wore in Magiranger. I hope they air it out before the actors put on 20 year old costumes.

Few things I saw.

1. Messiah's power was to create multiple metaroids. Makes sense his ability in his Megazord form would be able to create multiple Megazords.
2. Enetan...why haven't you been heard or seen from in twenty episodes...
3. Find it very coincidental that Kero-oh destroyed the same type of megazord in front of the same reflective building in this episode from the movie.
4. Did anyone notice that J in 05 covered Jin as Messiah Rebuilt was getting blown up? Also he is a tree.
5. J definitely felt Enter, he wasn't reacting off the snow.

This arc was awesome. Makes you wonder how they're gonna top this for the finale. J had some good moments "I am a tree" "I am undamaged"

It's a shame the next episode looks like filler. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong.
