Go-Busters 45 Released

Post by ReversedSentai »

Now that was a good episode. Another marriage episode, but this one was definitely pretty funny. Seeing Youko and Hiromu acting as Ryuuji's siblings was pretty funny, and I love how they had Hiromu mentioning that he's having déjà vu with that callback to when that tiny eraser Metaroid clang onto Hiromu and how it's a similar situation with that omochi Metaroid.

Seeing Morishita-san playing "Michael" was damn funny. It's pretty funny how he said "I don't know Japanese" in Japanese.

The ending song sounds pretty sweet too. Can't wait for the Go-Busters and Gokaiger crossover.

It was a pretty fun holiday episode. The antics were pretty funny, and the recycled monster suit was used in a pretty effective way with the joke callbacks.

This writer really likes Morishita or something. It seems like he's always doing something a lot more interesting than in any other episode that he's in with the main writer.

It was also good to see Rika, even if she didn't have much to do in the episode.

The writer this time made a mistake (This episode was obviously written by not the main writer). Ryuuji is still 28. He doesn't turn 29 till January 15. (His birthdate is in the opening)

I really liked this episode - equal contribution by all 5 Go-Busters, which is what I've been wanting for a while.

I appreciate things like Hiromu telling Jin to be quieter during the mecha battle - makes the show more realistic.

Also about Ryuuji's age, perhaps Gorisaki just meant "almost 29" - since his birthday is not that far away, it's ok if he calls him 29 and not 28.

Seems doubtful. I never refer to someone by the age of their upcoming before their birthday. Who does that? It's probably just a mistake, plain and simple.

I think it's pretty common actually. When people ask me how old I am before my birthday, I usually will tell them that I'm turning a year older in June. A lot of my people I know do that too.

It happens a lot over here too, but I notice it's very much an old people trait. "I'll be 82 next year, sonny jim!"

Since this is a New Years episode, the writer may have been referring to the traditional system of age reckoning. My mom used to confuse me when she used this system.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Asian_age_reckoning

Gorisaki tends to act like a parental figure to Ryuuji. I could see Japanese parents suddenly using that system just to put more pressure on their single children. It would also explain why Gorisaki says that he won't be around forever to take care of him. It's one of the standard guilt trip tactics parents use.

I liked the part where Jin was having a serious talk with Hiromu and Youko while wearing that ridiculous disguise.

I doubt it, since that link says Japan abolished that system a long time ago and only old people use it.

The thing is, who gets a friend's age wrong a week or two from their birthday? I'd understand "You're going to be 29 in a couple weeks." But not "You're 29" which should get a "No, I'm 28. I'm going to be 29 on my birthday."

My dad does something similar to the latter way too much.
I mean... No, my sister (for example) is not 16 right once October starts, she's 16 on October 22nd. >>

Getting back to the episode.

I liked this one a lot again, which is strange because the marriage ones usually bore me but both times in Go-Busters I've loved the episodes. Omochiroid was adorably evil and the whole switching back and forth between Hiromu and Youko was just classic.

J in a dress. Nuff said.

I really like this episode. Pretty funny XD
XD I love when Nick have his hand out when Rika gave Hiromu cash XD.
Seem like the grunt have a mind of their own now XD. Avoiding being destroy while the others minions get all attention XD.

XD The whole J dating Ryujii made me laugh.

Jin getting seriouse all of a sudden now. O.O

XD J activating his Marker System XD The whole tapping his helmet. XD

And again it's always J noticing these things.

XD Morishita speaking no japanese in japanese XD I guess that why Nick went down on the ground XD

Exactly!

This was a pretty funny episode. I liked the callback to the Eraserroid episode. The Megazord battle was the funniest part. Makes me want a Buster Hercules mochi snowman.
Here's to cheating, stealing, fighting, and drinking. If you cheat, may you cheat death; if you steal, may you steal a woman's heart; if you fight, may you fight for a brother; if you drink, may you drink with me.
