We came across a problem with the adhoc last night that's worth noting.

When multiple people are using the blue supply box at the beginning, there's a chance of the game freezing. You can restart adhoc by hitting R2+triangle, but that means everyone else has to quit and restart the quest. Kind of a bummer. Right now we've addressed this by taking turns when taking stuff out.

To put this in context, there was a while when P3 HD's adhoc was completely broken and unplayable. I don't think we've had any serious problems so far (at least where Adhoc was obviously to blame) but I guess not all the kinks have been worked out:

I did a recording of my next urgent, but something went wrong and the footage is unusable

Some stuff I've realized about the farm cats:

For the fishing game that I just unlocked, the more cats you have, the more the fish will be scared away. You can have up to 4 cats, but I just used two and it seemed to get decent results. Also, the cat at the front says it's better to use a variety of bait, since using the same one won't get good results.

The mining truck game results depend on how good the pick is. I just buy a bunch of cheap medium pickaxes from the vendor when he has them on half off and switch between them and the mushroom pickaxes.

The Nyaanter Quests depend on your cat's stats, armor, and skills. Plus they don't get the training from the farm. So what I do is I rotate between two teams.

Just a video of me fighting Tigrex in the village. No commentary track. Fighting Tigrex is still pretty fun

I just beat last offline quest yesterday. Man...that's most intense battle I have fought in a while. So intense that my hand cramped up toward end of mission. It's kinda dirty move they pulled on us, lol. I think MHp3 is first MH where I completed all village quests including final quest.

Did you know Narga and Tigrex were going to appear at the same time? Because that was a surprise to me. I just wasn't prepared.

How did you beat that anyway? I would have thought those two fast monsters would make your defensive strategy not work out.

No, I didn't know they would appear at same time, so yeah I was unprepared as well. I even forgot to bring meat for jho battle and one of my traps turned into garage. Narga even made one of my traps useless. But defensive (beside being lucky) is what helped me I think. With ice levi armor on (guard +2, guard up, gunnery master I think) and jinouga gunlance... I sort of block and let them beat up each other if possible, and hit one while other one is preparing to hit me. And if I need to escape to heal up, I would wait until time's right to put away shield and run, usually by wait until they go after cat. (Or just taking hits and diving for dear life until you are clear of them.)

But as result of that, I had less than five minutes left, ran out of all healing potions but lifepowders in pouch and megapotions on dead tigrex/ground. Also was down to last life so thus avoided trying to grab megapotions from tigrex. With that, narga spammed tail slam so many times toward end of battle, it was stressful not to make deadly mistake. Patience is truly needed for this mission.

In all, I am just glad I won this mission and refuse to do this mission ever again. Once is enough for me.

Sort of wished I recorded the battle since it was such intense and even I wasn't sure if I could kill the last monster in time. Lol.

BTW: I am unable to download your clips? It doesn't seem to show up on site or site isn't working right.

I wish I could have seen that fight. Jumbofiles is weird sometimes, I don't really know what their deal is.

I recorded Gunlance only mission, and added subtitles to it. Yeah, picture will be bad as usual, but eh. At least you guys get to see how deaf gamer play. So far I have only subbed part 1, will sub part 2 and 3 later. Subtitle is a bit weird too...Well, enjoy.

Ah, that was kind of interesting to see how a gunlance is played. I never figured out how to work the shellings into combos.
