First, the grand entrance!

Okay, I almost walked past it. It wasn't exactly out in the open and it was actually in one of the back streets and not the main drag. Ah well. Inside we go!

May have weirded out the waitress. I think she figured we (me and two non-sentai fan friends) just kinda wandered in but then I started taking pictures of stuff and then I might have sung along to the theme song. I don't think she ever expected a white girl to be interested in Akibaranger.
Still, they were very nice and let me take a picture of them!
The cafe itself -

Pretty cool wall poster and lots of decorations around.

There were like 6 tvs around the cafe showing episode 3 when we walked in. My friend was very amused when Akagi kept falling for Malshiina dressing up as Sayaka-san.

Lot of toys. Couldn't touch, just look, unfortunately.

The Akibarangers' signatures!

You can't tell from the picture, but they're just cardboard and wood props. Pity.
But what is a cafe without food and drinks?! I translated the menu for you here. I can't read the AkibaBlue drink so I'll go back again to look that up and fix it here.

So here's what we ordered -

You can kinda see the butter on the chicken is on fire. Overall it was pretty standard food, but the roll cakes were delicious.

Shachiiku Cocoa, served cold with a buttload of whipped cream.

Outrageous Drink. Pretty good, tasted like a very sweet soda though the jelly on top had a strange almost alcoholic taste.

Good kids shouldn't drink this! Very excellent, have no idea what was in it but I would definitely try it again. It was a bit stronger than I was expecting but I probably shouldn't have had alcohol on an almost empty stomach.
And as a bonus -

Aren't they cute?
Overall I enjoyed myself immensely and had a good time geeking out. If you're in Akihabara in the next month, give it a try!
