The song is pretty catchy. The seriously seriously part is a bit tacky, but if that's what the translation goes, I have no bones to pick,

Yume to yoso ii imi de uragitte kureru mono ...dreams and good expectations will in a sense betray you "yosou"; missing "u". Also, if you're following this: 夢と予想 いい意味で 裏切ってくれるもの, shouldn't it be "...dreams and expectations will in a good sense betray you" or "...dreams and expectations will betray you in a good sense"?Life is showtime! I tried doing this earlier. I used some lyrics I found posted on nicovideo though. I hear " hito hitsuyou" instead of kitto, and kibou tsukuri-dase" (create hope)... Also, I think it might be saying "unmei no Ride" (pronounced like in English), as in "even when the ride of destiny gets too intense" (I think). No guarantee those are right though, it's pretty hard to make out. Maybe "really" would work instead of "seriously"? Just throwing some ideas out there.

>Yume to yoso ii imi de uragitte kureru mono ...dreams and good expectations will in a sense betray you Also, if you're following this: 夢と予想 いい意味で 裏切ってくれるもの, shouldn't it be "...dreams and expectations will in a good sense betray you" or "...dreams and expectations will betray you in a good sense"? Thanks for the spelling fixes. Guess I need to take my own advice. Hmmm, for some reason I thought yosou ii was one thing. I'm honestly not sure what this line is trying to say. I guess my interpretation of it is a pessimistic view that dreams will end someday. I'm starting to think your interpretation fits better. Maybe it means that maybe dreams and expectations will betray you, but you'll be pleased with what you get instead? So how about: Dreams and expectations will betray you in a good way. >I hear " hito hitsuyou" instead of kitto With the strong emphasis on the tt, I think it's kitto. >and kibou tsukuri-dase" (create hope)... I don't hear the r in tsukuri. Considering Wizard saves people from despair, I think saving the hope makes more sense in this case. > Also, I think it might be saying "unmei no Ride" (pronounced like in English), as in "even when the ride of destiny gets too intense" (I think). No guarantee those are right though, it's pretty hard to make out. I definitely like that better than life. I actually thought it was unemi to RABU when I first heard it. Unfortunately, I do hear the "to" so I think the second word is a noun rather than a verb >Maybe "really" would work instead of "seriously"? Just throwing some ideas out there. Really? For real? It's the real thing! I kind of like that actually. >i personally hear Kitto hitsuyou fukaketsu no ENAJII kokoro da me (dame?) Hmmm. I think I hear da ne actually. That'd make it: The indispensable energy that people need comes from the heart Thanks for the feedback guys but thats about all i can pick up in terms of what i hear.
So how about: Dreams and expectations will betray you in a good way. Yeah, I guess that would work too. But I'm honestly going 'huh' over that line. It's a little... oddly phrased? Maybe the actual lyrics won't even be that... I mean the middle portion of the line is a little slurred... =/

How about
Dreams and expectations will betray you nicely.
with the adverb nicely showing the way of betrayal hence no need for the "in a way".

Yume to yoso ii imi de uragitte kureru mono
I have two translations for this,
Both your dreams and what you anticipate, will give meaning to their betrayal.
"There is meaning to how your dreams and expectations betray you"
If I were to connect both lines Kitto hitsuyou fukaketsu no ENAJII kokoro no tame Yume to yoso ii imi de uragitte kureru mono
"With purpose, both your dreams and what you expect betray you, to give you the unlimited source of energy that feeds your soul"

Why all the emphasis on the "meaning" part? I kind of feel like the ii imi thing is right. It's not just any meaning, but a good one. The Kureru at the end also supports that despite it being a betrayal, this is a good thing.

The Kureru at the end also supports that despite it being a betrayal, this is a good thing. That's a good point, it certainly clears it up in one shot. But I guess, I'd word it the way I do because, sometimes it's not necessarily "good" but more meaningful. As if the betrayal is an obstacle that we have to get through.
