So Haruto has a limited amount of magic power. That's cool. If he didn't he would be too overpower.

Koyomi is a sort of artificial human. Maybe she died in the ritual and the white mage put her soul in that body or something like that. Or not. Too soon to have the main plot explained.

Rinko is still cool, Shupei is still boring and Koyomi is still cute. And the donut okama was funny.

Cat Sidhe's actor did a good job, and I'm not bothered at all with him being African American. Hell we get a White American every once in awhile in these toku shows right?

Koyomi is so damn cute I just wanna pinch her cheek! She's like a living doll wait....

I still dont find Shunpei to be boring or bad. Then again I can handle most silly stuff in Japanese shows.

Rinko doing her part was actually pretty neat to see.

Am I the only one that noticed they threw Sidhe in more monster scenes than acting scenes. The way I see it, the actor probably didn't know that much Japanese so the few scenes where he is in human form he was given small easy to say stuff so he didn't suck up footage trying to say his lines. Then spent most the time in monster form where he voice acted the more complex phrases.

Aside from that, this episode was pretty blah.

+Wizard's Weakness is fully revealed already. I like that, I mean not many Riders had this shown early on.
+We got the best friend death out of the way already, we didn't have to wait until the last three episodes. Mind you there will probably be a half dozen more plot-points where Medusa tentacles Koyomi...what is with all the sexual references in this series.... and Haruto has to use up most of his magic energy to save her.
-The episode felt blah, none of the episodes felt as good as the first one yet.

To be honest, that completely blindsided me when I first saw the episode. At first I thought it was some subtle sexual joke for the Koyomi/Haruto fans to giggle at.

So when Koyomi puts her hand (the one with the ring) on Haruto's, it gives her Mana/energy as we can see in this eps. Haruto sustains Koyomi's life then. On the other hand when Koyomi puts her hand on Haruto's, it gives him pleasure.

Anyway about the race poll, they categorize the European/Caucasian as white and African as black. So why don't they do the same for Japanese, Korean, Chinese and similar as yellow or Indian as red?

Also about Sidhe being a black guy, it never really bugged me. Maybe because I would've laughed the same even if a white, Indian or, humanoid pig monster guy had done the role.

Some people here had seen too much Japanese media coverage on lazy black guys. That's their problem.

You're correct with all the sexual references in this eps. Afterall when male or female released their particular "fluids" they will get exhausted right. In Koyomi's case, she has her "fluids" sucked out of her by Misa/Medusa's tentacles and in Haruto's case, he let his being released by Koyomi using her hand.

Officially the episode that got me to stick with Wizard. Fantastic action choreography, clever writing, intriguing plot threads, cool characterization, very beautiful and stylish, and all around good acting.
