Hmmm, guess we're doing a Beast power-up storyline before we get back to Mayu? Okay, if that's what you guys want!

It was an okay episode I guess. The old guy obviously stole Beast's belt.

At least some of the commercials were amusing.

And the Golem thing was funny as well. "Whelp, I'm going in my box to sleep. Later, jerks!"

Tassels? Seriously? I dunno, the chest looks kind of cool.

Edit: Thanks Sky Tree test. I just noticed that Wiseman's line is cut off, which means both the audio and the caption aren't right in the stream.

My god, a mayo donut was bad enough but add tuna, that's just super nasty now. Then you still have Nitou adding his own mayo to the tuna mayo donut. I guess adding premayo in something doesn't work for Nitou. He probably makes his own mayo if that's the case. The old professor being pushed back by the magic circle was pretty funny. The old guy could make a better Beast if Nitou wasn't originally a Gate.

Golem being a builder is great actually. I like that Golem seems to have a personality compared to the other familiars.

Spriggan's sword is called Curiosity while his shield is called Riddle. Also I wonder why they went with a Two-Face design for Spriggan.

I don't know much about spriggans besides the minimalist research I did for the wiki. Frankly, I don't think I've ever heard of a spriggan until now?

Spriggans are fairy/sprite creatures from England myth. They're supposed to be like fairy bodyguards. So of course Spriggan's human form is a security guard who only cares about security. Since he's a guard, that's why his shield is so good? I'm not sure what Curiosity or Riddle is referencing though.

Since this is a Beast episode, I'm surprised the monster isn't some combination of various animals.

There was the anime movie Spriggan and forgot about the Sword Art Online Spriggan reference. It seems like most of the MOTW Phantoms don't have names for their weapons while the commander type Phantoms all have names for their weapons.

I doubt this guy is a commander, although it was kind of interesting that he and Medusa actually had a conversation, questioning Wiseman. That's not typical of other monsters of the week.

But still, I think his weapon/shield is named since he's the only one to have a notable one so far.

WTF is with that face on Shunpei's backpack?! Look at him carefully placing it on the chair, and LOL at Rinko just toss it away to sit down

Golem is interesting and fun to watch.

A ring box! Now kids have a place to store all those rings!

This is one time that DragonTime would actually be useful when you need to be 3 places at once, Haruto, and you didn't use it.

Damn it, I knew I forgot to mention something.

I wonder if having the second rider getting the powerup before the main one is to try and sell more toys before the final form of the main rider totally out does the secondary one.

Didn't they do this last year with Meteor and Fourze? I think you're right on this one, it sounds plausible enough to me.

I suspect that this creation looks worse than it actually tastes. Tuna and mayo (the base ingredients for any tuna salad) is one of the most popular fillings for onigiri. Unlike cake doughnuts, yeast doughnuts are not sweet if you omit the glaze and/or jelly filling. As a result, a carb with tuna salad isn't so bizarre. Of course, it turned into a greasy mess when Nitou added more mayo. I doubt that he makes his own mayo since he lives in a tent. Making mayo without the aide of an electrical appliance takes a lot of elbow grease. Most chefs use a food processor or immersion blender.

The celebrities at the airport seemed to have been inspired by Lady Gaga and Paris Hilton.

It's not that strange for people to carry their own mayo around.

There are plenty of people who think their own mayo is better than any other mayo.

And as much as I hate tuna, and seafood in general, even I know that mayo and tuna go pretty well together.

I love tuna and mayo on bread, so if the donut isn't overly sweet, I think it actually sounds delicious. Just... Add a little onion and black pepper and I'd be all over that. :D

There were some nice shots of Nitou's ahem crotch in this episode. I... can't say that I mind. Golem is adorable and I want one! (A live one I might add.)

Glad to see they finally told us what happens to the gate of this week and at the same time I love how it's brought up as pretty much. "Oh yea what ever happened to that other gate."

Also thought it was funny watching Nitou and this weeks gate circling around eachother studying the others beast related discovery.

Was pretty stupid of the gate to steal Nitou's belt knowing that monsters are after him.

No idea why Haruto's taking so long to use dragoTime when the situation is practically begging him to use it.

Also I'm not surprised Beast's getting his new form before Haruto get's his final form since he's still fresh off the full dragoTime form and has been receiving mid season upgrades for most of the season as far as forms go.

And in retrospect we still don't know the full power of DragoTime as far as what happens when the time goes full circle, does he get an even bigger power up or does he turn back into just normal Flame Dragon mode. hopefully they'll go into that sooner or later.

Spoiler
Not sure how I feel about Nitou's new form other than that I hate the tassels

Maybe the reason Haruto did not use Dragontime, is due to his lack of enough magical energy to conjure it. From the last episode, Medusa just absorbed his energy again, and probably still recovering from it. Even Koyomi was concerned not to get much energy for her recharge, as she notes that Haruto might again use it more for battle.

after the dial finishes spinning and he's summoned his other dragon forms, it goes into "Final Time"...he can then "Set Up" again to go into All Dragon form.
