Torin's origin being the same as the rest of the Deboss Army wasn't much of surprise after they showed him as a giant from last episode's preview. The true surprise is Torin being younger brother of Chaos. Hopefully they explain the relationship as all Deboss Army members could be considered as siblings as they are all created from Deboss's cells. So what makes Chaos and Torin special?

Torin being a giant in the preview last week wouldn't make a viewer go "He might be a Deboss." For all we know, we could have thought that the restoring water could make anything grow.

Candelira looked hot as a goth. I don't usually dig goths so this was surprising for me. Would love to see her stand side by side with Nai and Mare from Magiranger. Her song was actually not annoying too. It was actually pretty catch. The opening sequence sure was something as well. And wow at the reveal of Torin used to being with the Deboss Army. Did not see it coming at all. Makes sense as to why he has some different powers compared to everyone else.

The song does have hypnotic powers, what if the powered up version was just focused towards Torin.

Also I'm pretty sure not only is the name of the final mecha is known they did a wallpaper silhouette of all ten. Any random predictions will probably be dead on and spoil.

Dantetsu returns! Oh my, those amber stones look to be plot-relevant. They'll probably have something to do with getting Torin back to normal. And new toy exposition! Twin flail and hammer is pretty cool. I'm warming up to Carnival, too. Among the recent Sentai upgrades, it's the best since Shinkenger. Then again, anything's better than Miracle Goseiger.

This time's rolecall variation: announcing yourself in between punches. I did not expect half of the stuff that occurred in the warehouse scene, especially Torin and Chaos being brothers. I didn't expect Torin to take so much damage, both to his wing and in giant form. Most of all, I didn't expect for the Kyouryuugers to get over their surprise so easily. Usually it takes an episode or two for characters to come to terms with a plot-twisting reveal, but the Kyouryuu team did what they needed to do for Torin instead of hesitating.

Also, it seems that I hold the unpopular opinion of disliking Candelira's new song. The music itself isn't too bad, but Candelira's voice sounds like it's gone through a dozen filters.

The plot revelations and the action were great in this episode. But frankly I'm getting tired of Candy's signing. Yes, you got an idol as your VA; good for you.

Biggest critique of the episode - what was with that jarring scene cut around 12:15? There was no transition from Candelira singing to Carnival fighting.

My assumption has been that the jarring cut was intentional. To highlight the sharp contrast between the Deboss song and Carnval's own upbeat soundtrack.

Aha, I was wondering if they'd have the whole Deboss team or just the voice actors. Love when they do things like that in well, really in any sentai that has VAs.

Which one? Yorokobi no Uta or Kokoro no Sukima World? They had been both released. Only the Dark Arrange of Yorokobu no Uta wasn't since it's a new one.
