Ehhhh, it really depends. All the non-core DekaRangers had unique costumes, sure, but most shows also don't have this many dudes running around, so there's not exactly a whole lot of precedent on this scale.

I don't recall if they ever said what Grey and Cyan used to transform with when alive, if they could even transform and don't just adopt those suits now because it's how Kyouryuugers look in the modern day, but it was said explicitly that Utsusemimaru's changer was made by Torin, somehow out of his own essence. So we can probably assume somehow that the KyouryuuGold suit and gear is Torin-themed on top of pteradactyl-themed. Wings, beaky-face, a collar, shoulder things, and a sword. That's Torin as hell.

Straizer looks to come from the German word Streis, but that's about it. I can't find anything more about it. Also, now my favorite attack of this sentai.

The ending seemed weird this time; it was like we cut too quickly to the song.

I don't know if it's German. I'd assume it's strike + riser or razor. Maybe laser? The word appears in Kamen Rider W with FangJoker's form too.
