Ladies and Gentlemen, with the arrival of the Kamen Rider Wizard movie, rumors have already started to spark as to who the next Rider is going to be. Supposedly, next years Rider will be a ninja, who uses keys to gain access to his arsenal. Quite honestly, I'm hoping that the 'key' thing is something else. I can't really imagine a Ninja that uses keys.

If only it were true. But we all know how it work. It's a show that focus on selling toys to boy. Female Rider wouldn't sell as much. With Wizard, they opened the possibility of a female third Rider, but for now, there is no sign of her. Maybe during the last eps, like with Hime ShinkenRed, but it would be a waste to make her appear that late, if she ever appear.
Maybe we'll see her in the movie.

Actually, altough i don't think we'll have a female lead in a kamen rider in any time soon. i think they may be considering a female as a third rider. With fourze's nadeshiko, and now with a possible female in Wizard, i think they are experimenting to see the reaction to the idea. Let's remember, Nadeshiko only had 2 switches, as oppose to meteor and fourze. she was sort of a low risk inversion. even if her toys did not make a shit ton of money, if the incoming was decent, it meant nadeshiko had an acceptable reception. if nadeshiko had an acceptable reception, they may consider future female riders. Even if only as minor characters.
And yes, a male rider would sell better than a female since they are boys toys. but i will say it again, if it has few toys and they stick with the basics, it would be a low risk inversion. it all depends of how well nadeshiko was received.

I'll admit. I like the design. Something about asymmetrical helmets. But those keys/swords are basically Gaia Memories. I can't imagine they'd pick something so similar so soon.
