I'm amped. Wizard has been boring for me, so hopefully a multi rider themed samurai urobutcher written story will be great.

Feeling a little less negative about Gaim now that I've seen the suits in motion... And I am looking forward to a series with multiple Riders, but it is going to take a while for me to fully warm to the design aesthetic they are going for here.

Also it looks like Baron has been raiding Marvelous' closet. (＾▽＾)

Oh come on fruit!? How is it that we've gone from cool stuff like vampires, animals, and rockets to things that are part of a complete breakfast? There has to have been better themes for Toei to go with; the fact that they felt the need to put a knife on the belt should have hinted to them that they may be going down the wrong path.

Still, I'm looking forward to this one if only to get past Wizard. Wizard hasn't been terrible, but it has been unexcitable. It seems a bit soon for Toei to do another Samurai theme, however it has been nearly 4 years since Shinkenger...

The idea sounded stupid at first, but learning from Fourze, I didn't think to completely write it off. The trailer tells me that the decision to give this a chance will be a good one.

I thought that line was "Be careful of the fate you have chosen". Then again my japanese is still crappy, at least I can recognize the keywords.

And you know what? After 2 years, Fourze's design still looks cheap to me. Gaim's suit just takes me 2 days to love it. It doesn't matter what concept you choose as long as you know presentation.

well I just roughly remember the sub not that great with japanese either.

Fourze does look plasticy but I think of it asw a fun design rather than a beautiful one.

I'm disappointed in the fruit theme and was kinda hoping they'd backtrack back to the bugs, but at this point, Super Sentai have done a lot of the popular themes too recently for Kamen Rider to use (pirates, dinosaurs, spies). But nowadays it's about making the bright and colorful suits that will make kids want to buy it.

The thing to remember guys is...this is a show geared at kids so that they'll beg their parents to buy toys, movies, and extras. And the Japanese culture is different than most of ours (the map says we fans are all over the damn world) so I'm sure fruit is a much more interesting theme there than in America where driving to a 24/7 McDonald's at 3 AM is a normal thing.

anyway, for Gaim, I'm interested due to it being "Sengoku Era" themed: Gaim's helmet looks like it was cued from Masamune Date's.

I'm digging the theme song thatvwas playing in the background, too, and the.henshin pose has more action.

Yeah Wizard hasn't been that good ever since it passed the mid-season form upgrade episode. Hopefully Gaim will be good.

I don't think it's gonna be that dark. Remember when Wizard was first revealed? It's said to be "a serious one", and people were all hyped. Now it's just kind of so-so, the plot advances at a sluggish pace, not to mention the main actor's boring acting (Souma has got to be the blandest KR protagonist ever). All in all it has been a decent show, but nowhere as serious, awesome as fans had expected. So just a tiny bit of advice, don't have high hope for the next KR to be anything like dark.

That being said, Urobuchi is a talented writer. He is surely smart enough to not terrorize children on a Sunday morning, but he will definitely deliver a solid plot. The director who has worked in many great KR series is also an important factor.
