Man, Kouta hid his tears fast. But let's talk about this scene. It's been a real long time since we've seen a Rider character express deep emotion like this. Much less shedding tears of grief over the death of a character. Most the time, they just hide these emotional moments (since these are shows aimed at kids), but they show it here. And it's fitting and it's good.

Wow, who the fuck are you DJ Sagara? For real. Maybe Kouta just has multiple personalities. Man, he just gets all the cool parts nowadays.

New form, it's pretty good. I love the design. I'm not quite as happy with the anachronistic weapon though. I guess samurai probably had cannons and stuff, but a shot gun/machine gun? And as cool as the flags are on his back, I don't really like them as weapons.

It was pretty fun to see Ryouma actually lose control of the situation, after manipulating everything and being smug about it all this time.

Also, Kachidoki isn't a fruit as far as I know. It's:
Kachidoki 勝ち鬨 【かちどき】 (n) shout or cry of victory

The whole thing is very samurai. The Iza shutsujin/Into battle you've probably heard in Shinkenger. (Although in Shinkenger I think it was Iza mairu/Going forth). Iza shutsujin is more literally translated to "It's now time to head into the battlefield".

I wish I knew more about samurai to know if the flags are significant.

Sure it is good... but a little emotional episode.

Is DJ Sagara have the power of creating a Lock Seed? And why is DJ Sagara with that mysterious woman?

So Gaim finally destroys the Scalar System. I wonder what Yggdrasill will do next. Oh... i like what Zangetsu Shin getting frustrated over Kouta's actions.

Well... i like more and more than Shinkenger since it's a Sengoku themed hero.

Kouta is really the Slayer if he has a Watcher.

I don't like it that Kouta gets Kachidoki Arms now because he just got a Cherry and Peach Energy LockSeed. I would like to see the Jimbers of those being used more than once before moving on to Kachidoki Arms.

Micchi has completely turned his back on Kouta now. He has definitely his older brother's ego and beginning to flaunt it even more now with his "I know what's best for everyone" attitude.

The weapon is named the Hinawa DaiDai DJ Jyuu and is based off the tanegashima that was actually used by samurai.

Oh it's that rifle from Metal Gear Solid.

I mean, I'm not surprised they used rifles. But the machine gun mode and hand cannon mode is what bothers me. I feel like they should have cut off the projectile weapons off at the bow, since everyone else uses melee weapons.

Except Ryugen.

DJ Sagara said he was just a watcher. I wonder if that's an actual classification for what he is. Mysterious Woman seems a bit concerned with what Sagara's doing.

Most definitely. I mean sure the plot was rolling in some of the earlier Rider series by this time but not like this. Gaim is pretty amazing.

I was paying attention to the part where DJ mentions "I can't see the future" to Mystic/Future/First Mai, could there be some significance in that, further implying that Future Mai is indeed from the future (or at least a possible future) trying to change the timeline? Seems like she wants Kouta to run away but DJ wants him to go the opposite direction.

However there's also the confusing bit where he always talked about the forest choosing someone... and now implying that it is this Mystic Mai who will choose, which messes up my theory about her being a Future Mai.

Ufff, it took Dj Sagara to do it, but at least Kouta is back in action, where i can finally support him. It was interesting logic from DJ Sagara, that Yggdrasil is weak becos they go by the rules of the world, and now he pointed Kouta in direction of destroying those rules, and that's good, i realyy don't want to hate Kouta. Remember epsiode 2? When he was transforming all the time, how it was unique and hilarious? I realyy want to like that guy, probably funniest main rider :/. Kachidoki arms looks realyy great, that was what i imagine a upgrade for those riders would look like, more into the warrior than the fruit, and it's much better than Jimba imo.

Sooooo, in Hellheim there are guys that can control plants but are too lazy to do that?



Can't say it's a bad thing, so practically gettign a forbidden fruit grants you power to control hellheim? Pretty neat i like that, also interaction between Kaito and that Overlord.

Sooo, Sagara can turn fruits into lockseed, and we've seen once again, fake Mai.......... I honestly have no idea whats going on.... Sagara may be Overlord and fake Mai from the future, we have to wait and see.
