Wh-what does this mean for Kamen Rider?!
(Same with bananas, actually, but the flesh and peel of a banana is very firm when the peel is green, so let it turn yellow, folks, with just a few speckles of brown on the peel.)

Re: Oranges aren't orange
Whatever the reason we did call oranges oranges or whatever we did then does not change the fact that we cal them oranges now. As much as it's important to know the roots of a word or what they truly mean, language evolves, it's one of the most democratic things in the universe. Once enough people agree that a certain fruit is called an orange, the reason for it doesn't matter one lick, cause that fruit is not an orange till enough people agree upon calling it something different from long enough.

Re: Oranges aren't orange
So the color was named after the fruit instead of the other way around. Big deal. And it makes perfect sense. A lot of colors are named after other things.
Doesn't make oranges any less orange though.
Not sure why to bring up bananas. Yes, I know yellow means they're well on their way toward rotting. But they're also quite a bit more edible in that state.
(Juicing a banana is still practically impossible. The best you can do is mix the pulp with some other kind of juice to "water it down")

Re: Oranges aren't orange
Regardless of their technical name, kids know Oranges by that name. So that's what Gaim is going to refer to it as.
