Yeah but, this seemed to take place a while before he got bitch-slapped, & he was pretty upfront about wanting to beat up Kouta. Not that I'm taking any of this into canon but y'know.

Point taken. The HBV was released in March, and while you're right in that it's non-cannon, that's well within the time where Micchi had transitioned to being a dick. So this isn't something I'd call out of character.

More practical answer: the theme for the HBV fight sequences was to have Fresh Gaim fight the other riders. So Micchi has to be antagonistic because the plot calls for it.

To me, it was more like they just wanted to test others arms for once, and what's better than fight each other to do it. It's not like they risked to kill each other, knowing how many times they did fight before. I would rather call that a friendly match.

Are you kidding me? Stay The Ride Alive is quite clearly the greatest song ever.
As for Teppen Star... I prefer the instrumental.

Are there other combinations of defeated/undefeated riders on the DVD? What about the "I pick X"s?

At least Stay The Ride Alive still stick at my favourite. The rest not that fit to movie

Zangetsu Budou probably nice to see. Baron Ichigo are fit him.. Ryugen Melon should be good too...

No, it's a false decision. You can try the other ones, but they only like the ones the Arms that are pre-selected. It also doesn't matter what order you beat them in.

Teppen Star was good to listen. But I still love Bright Our Future by Issa.
Stay The Ride Alive was awesome too. Voyagers also nice
