Correlation between the Riders and Generals
As we know, Gaim has a deep Sengoku ( Japanese Warring State Period ) feel and relationship with. But do you guys think that we can correspond some of the riders in the running for the forbidden fruit to the well known generals and leaders of that age?

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the main characters were modern incarnations of some of the more famous leaders of those times. I wouldn't know though since I'm not much of a history guy.
Without going into any details, they do play with this idea a bit in the Gaim/Wizard movie.

Yeah, I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to think that when the themes of 'warring states' and multiple riders/factions were decided upon that those involved thought "we'll go all out and have certain characters based on those from our actual history." It's the sort of, tip-of-the-hat type things like that that are always woven into lots of Rider/Sentai series and which, to me, make the franchises really special.

Though that does lead to the problem of what stance this writer/writing staff takes on Nobunaga which, while not changing the characters of other such waring states generals and the like, does change their context a lot.

Fun fact -
Yuki Kubota who plays Takatora Kureshima, also played General Date Masamune in the 2009 Sengoku Basara live stage production.
So at least there is a connection to some degree!

... Now I want to hear Takatora shout out some seriously bad engrish in the middle of a super serious and dramatic scene.
Takatora: "ARURIGHTO, EBURYONE!"

But in Just Live More Gaim Cast MV I love Kubota Yuki, he showed to us his cool side.
