I really enjoy watching Redue, she's so... I think amusing is the wrong word because she's horrifying but... I like her.

That missile scene was pretty cool, and with better CG I may have not laughed though it.

I'm surprised that Kaito and Minato didn't just straight up out Micchi as Fake-Zangetsu. How bad is it going to look on them when it finally comes out and they weren't the ones who revealed it. Or are they just going to do a "Oh no, what a shock!..." because that doesn't seem their style.

Though I'm hoping we get a Melon vs Melon Energy battle now that Takatora is back on Earth because you know he's going to click that his brother is up to no good.

At least the writing in this is good enough that they give some sort of explanation. I always appreciate some justification. It's better than none at all.

And Kaito's not wrong, either. Some lady, who had been trying to push everyone's shit in until just that previous afternoon, turns around and tells them that everyone's friend Micchi is traipsing around in his brother's armour and whipping Kouta's ass? Absolutely no one would believe her, even with Kaito (the asshole who keeps treating everyone like dogshit and abandoned his own crew) backing her up. No, that boy is going to have to out himself.

I don't think Micchi is going to survive to episode 40.

I don't see this show going to episodes 47-48. I mean the summer movie is coming out soon which is next month. I actually think that's the show is going along well. Each episode has been well written and the plot has been going smoothly. But who knows I could be wrong.

also, I like how they're framing more and more scenes as wider and lonelier. everything's starting to feel so empty. the atmosphere in this show is great.

It won't be the shortest series. Decade had 31 episodes. Gaim has 34 and counting lol. So yeah, not short at all.

I feel so bad for Kouta. All he wants is to save his city & have everything go back to normal, but every time it seems like he's one-step closer to that, he's met with yet another mile-high obstacle. Now he has to deal with the fact that everything he worked for was almost obliterated in 2-seconds & an upcoming betrayal by one of his closest friends. But no matter what he'll keep on fighting for what he believes in, & for the sake of everything he cares about, because he's a goddamn Hero. And that's why he's my favourite character in this show.
