I'm reminded of a Denis Leary skit

At any rate, I don't care about episode count as long as every episode is full of quality like it has been. I'm just hoping that by the final two episodes they don't rush to finish everything. A show like this, I want a nice, climatic final battle.

kusaka, was waaaaay worse than micchi, but micchi hides himself

I think that makes Micchi worse; there's a betrayal in this relationship which never happened with Kusaka, who Takumi knew pretty much the whole time was a shitlord. Kusaka just kind of rolls up into the show being better at everything and turns out to be a jealous, obsessive jack-off. Eventually we found out why he was such a phenomenally horrible person, but then again Faiz kept turning into Days of Our Lives, so screaming your motivations in the middle of a rainstorm made total sense!
