What a strange departure from last week's episode. I have to admit that the Hikaribito eating the sour umeboshi was pretty funny.

They did a pretty good job with the creepy stuff. I wonder if that's Yoshino Yumi who's playing the creepy girl this week.

For some reason, I think this episode was more what I was expecting this series to be like. Looks like the next episode will be actual plot, as predicted.

The horror stuff was not to my taste, but the parody of the sentai transformation scene was quite funny and the action at the end pretty impressive.

Yay, plot.

It hasnt always been an easy task to time this show, but this ep was by far the best to time (for obvious reasons)

The first half left me confused as to what is going, and then the 2nd half opens with what I thought was a Sushi CM, but then it just turns into a general piss take of ZyuRanger, couldn't really keep a straight face during all that section, most fun I've had with timing an episode. If they have more of that, I think I may enjoy timing the rest of the show instead of using expletives when all 5 of them want to talk at once

The sentai parody made me lol, really really hard. The standing around while enemy gets away, the bitter ending of lover sailing away to a bright happy future, and calling each other by numbers, among other things...

i just cant stop laughing.... the sentai parody.... Akiko and Hitomi were cute...

I really don't know how to categorize this show because it keeps bopping all over the place so I never know what the next episode will do. It's just so wacky and out there and yet it kind of works.

Another episode without gratuitous cleavage?!

This show finds new ways to get weirder and weirder every week. That episode was entertaining from start to end, but I'm not sure I know how to describe an episode that's part Sentai parody, part horror parody, and part taking a sledgehammer to the 4th wall.

It took me a moment to figure out that it was intentional. I spent a minute or two thinking it was my video decoder going wonko.

Gan, you getting carry away easily by the Ringu girl is why you're Number 5 not Number 1. Also I wonder if they dried out the Mama's phone before using it since it was in the toilet.

If they really wanted to make a crack at Sentai, they should have Gou getting beat up, cut to the eyecatch, and show him back at the house wondering how he managed to escape.

Hitomi really let herself be a princess at the end as Gou was badly singing.

In the episode 6 thread, Kuchiri said he reckons Granny can also see the true forms of Gou & Co. like Hitomi can and I was inclined to agree. After seeing this episode it makes me buy it even more. Maybe Granny started the whole "Pikaman" thing because she knows what Gou & Co. are really here to do, so she wants to test them and make sure they're up to the challenge.

At least, that's what I'm choosing to believe.

Weird horror stuff going on in the first half. I thought I was watching that creepy Garo episode from Makai Senki. Then the second half happened and the Sentai parody was hilarious. This episode was all over the place. I don't know how to judge this show anymore.
