Well, that was a twist I wasn't expecting.

Too bad the rest of the episode was a sloppy mess. What the fuck?

First, I don't think there are even that many female company presidents for Wakabayashi to abuse. And I have to say, the show's attitude towards women is starting to make me a little uncomfortable.

Again, Random != Interesting. If I had to characterize this series, let's just go with episode 7's title "absurd", 8's "very strange", and 10's "outrageous".

At least the stuff with the town's people being silly is a little amusing. I'm not sure if there was very much entertainment value in this episode though. I just feel like I'm being trolled by this show.

I'm not really sure why granny assumes that Wakabayashi is left-handed. I see it's a euphemism for sake drinker, but that's about it:
左利き 【ひだりきき】 (n) left-handedness, sake drinker, left-hander, (P)

I found timing it quite disturbing, for large parts of it, its just sounded like I was timing a porno, which is not a good thing

I wasnt sure what to make of the ep in general, that bit at the end was very strange, not sure what to think of that or where its going to go from there,

Im just kinda glad they have stopped doing all 5 of them wanting to speak at once, that drove me crazy trying to time it

I wish they had waited to show what room Rin’s spirit walked into until the end of the episode, because then the big reveal would have really blindsided me.

If Hitomi really is Granny’s granddaughter by blood, that might explain why she can see the Magii, Hikaribito, etc. instead of it just being random that she has that special ability.

Jin targeting all female CEOs by itself isn’t so bad. What I find distasteful is the way the assistant (whose name is evidently Rurika - did we know that before this episode?) over-sexualizes everything that she watches Jin do.

He says Rurika once in episode 4 and once in this episode. So you're not crazy if you didn't catch her name before.

I dunno, it's pretty bad to me XD The worst part is that it's completely pointless. Just write your stupid absurd shit another way that isn't so gross.

Ok I'm all for Japanese girls moaning and stuff, but watching this and the thing they were going for with women was a bit off putting for me.

Granny turning out as Rin was unexpected for me.

*Only Joking, I'm not one of those piggish guys who enjoys shows just for the boobs, though they ARE a plus.

Was the tree lady actress the same as Navi? Just one actress for every boobs scene, it seems.

It's getting to be a little disappointing... There are things about this show that I am really enjoying like the design, the Hikaribito learning to move about in the human world, Hitomi growing and learning to be less gloomy, the kooky townsfolk, and Granny.

And while Jin/Wakabayashi's desire to find Rin is admirable, and could prove to be very interesting, he as a character is proving to be incredibly creepy with each passing episode. The really frustrating thing about it all isn't even the sex, but the off putting way that the sex is handled. It is just much to harsh a contrast against the silliness of the rest of the show. (>_<)

Let's be honest here. I'm pretty sure most of us have seen some pretty freaky shit. So to be honest whatever this series has shown is pretty tame. It still is odd as all fuck though.

The twist threw me off I never figured Granny would be important and can we see Jin's true form already.

just did a quick skim thru and that was ... interesting to say the least. Granny=Rin? didnt see that coming. all the moaning and groaning was a fair bit on a creepy side of the fence.

It's gross in the context that this isn't a porno and it doesn't need to be there. It doesn't fit the context. It's more offensive to me than the casual nudity.

BTW, after watching this episode, somehow I feel that the main villain actually is Rin :
- Seems that she was seducing both Jin and Gou, making them fight each other. IIRC, Jin and Gou are somehow (maybe) most powerful Hikaribito pair (with their weapon given by their king).
- She asked Jin for the tree that fed on women ? Jin summoned 1000 soldiers for Rin's sake ? Looks like Jin was manipulated by Rin to do those nasty stuffs.

I kinda lean towards this possibility exactly. But it isn't clear why she turned her back against Jin and disappeared only to turn/reincarnate into Granny.

This episode wasn't a toku. This episode was a softcore porno. And I'm not trying to exaggerate here.

I don't know what else to say. Maybe this is what a Japanese acid trip is like? Lots of weird stuff with a liberal dash of sex thrown in? It's so far out there I'm not even sure I have the right frame of reference to evaluate this episode. The only thing that makes any sense is Granny being Rin, and that's saying something right there.

Without having any real in-depth knowledge of Japanese culture, but just reading the character actions, I have to assume that whatever it meant is was sexual. It would certainly fit in with the rest of this episode...

it looks like Jin's secretary to me. Dan Mitsu is 32 years old but man is she hawt.
