This was a fantastic episode, it's nice to see them try to change up the giant mecha battles. Usually around this time we would be seeing an one minute combination finisher fight.
Wow, this episode sure packed a lot in. Akira was hilarious this episode. Let's lock the emperor in this room. Stand back and watch as I die here. Ah-ha, all your armaments are mine! Okay, I've had enough fun. You guys finish it. And the best part is how he just acts like it's completely normal.
Akira is really great. Waving his baton to direct ShinkenBrown into the closet was choice. I admire how they have a decent balance of him being the ultimate straight man in nearly every situation while also having little mischievous touches here and there. He comes across just alien sometimes, and it's wonderful. The actor plays the role brilliantly.
I miss his tasselled jacket, but it's clearly so hot in Japan he would die if he wore it.

Japan can get between 90-95 or higher in summer with up to 90% humidity. It stays in the upper 80s with about the same humidity even late through the night. You start sweating as soon as you step out the door, and if you can, you try and stay in the shade as much as possible. Winter's not too bad, but summer is hell for the suit actors.
The guys are training and don't invite the girls? Way to ensure two-fifths of the team is underleveled. Akira already gets so little in the way of bonding, it's like he's hardly part of the team.
Was gonna say that transferring has spread to non-rangers now, but then they noted it in show. Man, one-off characters get to do more with the team than Akira.
RyouKnight looks really cool, I hope he'll show up again. That suit's too great for one use, not to mention the significance of Tokacchi's brother. Looks like Tokacchi has a few issues of KiraKira magazine, as well as a copy of Grimm. Coincidence or not?
How many towns has that underpass with the stream running through it been in? I swear we've seen it a lot this year.
Build Tank looks really cool. Just make Akira and his quest to find somewhere to find somewhere to die the main focus of the series and it could be saved.
