At least the Tridoron looks cool, and I like his glowing eyes. We need a Cops rider as main hero.

I can't really say it's a ripoff of W. Sure the main guy is a detective but he's an official police detective while Shoutarou was a private detective. Also the main thing about W is that it's two guys, one Rider not the detective part.

Kamen Riders seem to do very little actual, you know, riding these days. So they don't really need motorcycles anyway.

That's just it though, when you factor out the superficial deck chair shuffling, you have the same premise of a Kamen Rider detective solving paranormal crimes. Heck my gut is even telling me that the shift cars will wind up being similar to the Gaia Memories in that regard as well.

Worse still, like you said, we're not getting elements that made W great, like the 2 characters forming a single Kamen Rider.

In short, the series strikes me as having copied the premise of Kamen Rider W, but without the things which made W great. Maybe it'll surprise us, who knows; hopefully it will. However I'm honestly skeptical at this point.

I have made the conscious decision to call him Kamen DRIVER Drive, instead of Rider. I'll even rename your files to that for my archives. I don't care if it's not the official title.

Are they out of ideas? The premise we're seeking honestly reeks of the concept in universities, of plagiarising yourself.

So he's like Accel, but a car instead of a motorcycle. Hopefully they'll do a decent job of the police, for a change.
