Well I don't mind Mach, though his flashy stage intro was pretty pointless and it did get tired pretty quickly. I really like his belt though, appearance, voice and all. Though what's the deal with his helmet able to flip the visor up? Yes it resembles a motorcycle helmet like that but does it serve any actual purpose?

Interestingly nobody's mentioned this yet and it's not on the wiki either, but surely I'm not the only one who heard them playing a new song during Mach's fight - or at least I'm pretty sure it's a new one. Strangely though I couldn't see a credit for any song other than Surprise Drive. Am I going crazy here?

Opening the mask vents off the steam built up by the Mach System. Apparently Gou has a time limit that he can keep the mask on, else something unfortunate might happen.

Nah, he's got a proper Japanese name of Gou, which is how they would pronounce the English "go". Obvious puns abound.

The name has been spelled Go in a magazine. It's a funny pun, because Shinnosuke's surname Tomari means Stop. Our duo are called stop and go!

Kamen Rider Mach reminds me of the showy motorcycle stunt riders. And, even though the costume is a little gaudy, it also remind me of the early Kamen Riders.

When he first appeared I totally fell in love with Go, though that lessened a bit after his extended introduction as Mach.

It didn't sound like he could have been in America for long: his English didn't seem to be pronounced like he understood what it meant (or I could just be really bad at judging that sort of thing).

I love Go's civilian clothes; the KR outfit is ok. His actions to complete moves seemed to be too intricate/long (though that seems to be a plague on KR in recent years).

As someone said above, the cowboy villain's design seemed too Sentai-like; though it was well designed.

I'm hoping that the comedic elements fade away as the series continues - and dreading that the dramatic elements fade away leaving naught but terrible comedy.

At least Go is Kiriko's brother so we can't have a forced love triangle.

I checked the credit and there's nothing listing the new song's name. That's probably why.

Yeah but that's what I'm saying. I just checked the scene again and it's definitely a new song - I wonder why they didn't credit it? Very unusual for them not to.

Late to the party, but anyone notice some interesting similarities between Mach & Chaser. They both use handcannons, they both can't destroy (or at least, it seems like Mach can't) the roidmude cores, & they both drive the same model bike (although both heavily customised).

I completely disagree. It's certainly blatant that English is his second language.... but when compared to my Japanese friends (and other foreign friends for that matter) his English is extremely good.
I mean, it's still heavily Engrish... but it's a LOT better than some of my friends.

Also: I am mad that the announcement blocked off the "mom-bait" for the majority of Heart's randomlyshirtless screentime.
Especially when it's been awhile since our "mom-bait" has been as (surprisingly) buff as Heart's actor is.
