Did Kouga Ever Pay For The Painting?

I'm just wondering if Kouga ever payed for that painting that he bought from Kaoru in the beginning..?? I even asked a friend who introduced me into the show and he said he did yet i never managed to find out.... its just out of curiosity and boredom

I think letting her live in his house and eat his food for free was payment enough. But I don't remember if he actually paid her for the painting.

I think i remember Kouga telling him to pay her but not for the Painting, for the package she delivered..... I think i will just rewatch the whole series just to check but it seems like a lame reason to but oh well i can experience the AWESOMENESS that got me into watching tokus

I would agree what m4rc0 said.

I think he never really did... with fighting horrors and the hectic situation that happened during the series... so far I know Kouga let her stay in the house, saved her life countless times, and since they ended up as a couple... I highly doubt he ever paid for the painting (in cash).
