Garo, of course.

It was interesting to have a throwback to an earlier episode, for a bit of throw in continuity. Also reveals the Watchdogs underhand nature. Also, what is in store for Kaoru?

This episode is always a tear-jerker for me, especially when the piano version of Savior in the Dark is being played.

I like how at first the old man comes off as this jerk who just looks down on humanity. Then we find out his backstory and he instantly becomes this sympathetic guy that most people seem to forgive in hind sight. It seems like a lot of tragedies occur because of simple misunderstandings from one or both parties. If the old man knew at the end of the episode what he knew at the beginning, maybe none of that would have ever happened or maybe his relationship with Kouga would have been a totally different thing

I really like that they did an ep like this. It's so different compared to the rest it really brings the "human" element or outside world into the main stage.

I love episodes that show the other side of the story, it's rare to see in these types of series how ones actions affect people not directly involved.

Also that gun Horror was a very cool looking suit.

Working on this episode again, I'm once again impressed by how well the story is told. It feels like it takes the moral ambiguity problem from episode 17, but does a much better job at handling it. There's pathos and Morimoto Leo is a great actor. I think he plays the boss in Shomuni too. Just a great episode all around.
