I agree Minehiro Kinomoto (sp?) cannot compare to the other guy in looks. Minehiro Kinomoto has a bulky frame and not so hot of looks. Garo is bad ass while Terui looks like he takes it in the-ANYWAYS you get my drift.
I loved the movie BTW, gave a great ending. Thanks to the subbers. <3 ya all much for your hard work, and giving up your free time.

The age is quite a difference. Minehiro Kinomoto is very young, especially compared to some of the other current Toku actors.

Holy cow you are right, he does NOT look that young-ish (22). Garo (XD) is well like the Kick Hoppers actor slightly (few months)older then me.

Re: Garo Beast of the White Night
A fansub team in my country released Beast of the White Night in 2 files, they said that's the 2CD version and since the files' total size is 1GB, their version's quality is probably better than TVN's. Why didn't you guys do the same thing?
also, does this special have anything to do with the upcoming movie? Red Requiem if I recall right ...

Re: Garo Beast of the White Night
The DVD releases overall were to commemorate the release of Red Requiem, but from what I gather, that movie itself is in a different continuity.

That's probably because it aired originally in two parts on TV and then rereleased on DVD in two parts. The part we released is like a directors cut which has these two parts and more footage

Well, do you actually have a problem with the quality of the video released? I'm not going to reencode the video based on the argument "their file is bigger, why don't you make yours bigger too?"

Bigger isn't always better, and small things come in big packages. If bigger files ment better I think the worlds computers would be beyond a Terabyte (sp) memory normal by now.takenoko wrote:Well, do you actually have a problem with the quality of the video released? Re: Garo Beast of the White Night
I was just making a question/suggestion. Never would I demand something to be completely redone after so many efforts you guys v put into your release
And yes, I'm kinda picky when it comes to file's quality, not big size but big size tends to be better I think =P

Re: Garo Beast of the White Night
Well, I don't want to reencode the thing because someone is vaguely unsatisfied with it. If someone wants optimal bigness, they can just buy the DVD

Re: Garo Beast of the White Night
Saw this movie once again. I loved every aspect of it. Fighting in the city. Fighting in the forest. Love the White Knight's armor.
My favorite scene is when kouga has to fight his sentiments. Bringing back Echo, Taiga, Kiba, Zero, and Kaoru was epic.
Best movie in the entire series.

I'm just really into the series right now and trying to do my part by increasing the activity. This show needs to be discussed more.

Everytime I watch this, I curse at the fact that DAN still doesn't have a figure in the new toy line.
