New GARO Spin-Off in the Works
Apparently, they're focusing this one on Dark Knight KIBA. Should be interesting, don't you think?

Re: New GARO Spin-Off in the Works
Will people stop teasing with Garo, enough there is Red Requim which we'll probably never see enter the light of subbing day. Er, I should probably clarify and save my self the issue of a misterunderstanding here. When I say that I mean the people who work on subs are so busy already working on so much right now.
It looks awesome, but I can't stand being teased anymore. XD

GARO is fairly high priority around here because everyone loves it. The series was redone for the release of RR, so what makes you think we wouldn't see it?DrowningFishy wrote:Will people stop teasing with Garo, enough there is Red Requim which we'll probably never see enter the light of subbing day. Anyway, I'm curious, for this to happen did Red Requiem do fairly well at the box office? I can't find any stats anywhere.

Re: New GARO Spin-Off in the Works
I don't really see a need to tell Kiba's story. Like a bad guy that's multi layered and a real character is great, if you see that stuff within the confines of the main character's plot. Going back and filling that stuff in later (Star Wars prequels comes to mind) just seems unnecessary and can ruin the good stuff you had established already

Re: New GARO Spin-Off in the Works
I agree with Take that there really isn't a point to tell KIBA's story, but I'll still watch it. Honestly, I like to learn little tidbits about characters and the mythology of a show. Considering Barago will most likely be meeting with the Watchdogs and Kodama at some point during this Gaiden maybe they'll explain some things like why does Kodama never speak (not counting the Smile Gaiden)? Thats one thing thats been bugging me for a while now. Plus, its a new GARO show, how can anybody not be excited for it? :p
On a side note, I'm finally glad that we now know when Red Requiem is coming out.

I'm pretty sure Kodama never speaks because his voice is a weapon.Barago wrote:I agree with Take that there really isn't a point to tell KIBA's story, but I'll still watch it. OMG it's Dogma all over again. XD Maybe him and God should get together and have a talk.KickHopper wrote:I'm pretty sure Kodama never speaks because his voice is a weapon.
But yes, that would put a clincher on talking. You know the whole people dying when you open your trap is rather quite inconvient.

Re: New GARO Spin-Off in the Works
I think telling kiba's story is pretty pointless and just another way for them to make money. I just wish Garo would just stop where it is- Its not a series that u can make go on forever like sentai or kamen rider

Iono... I would watch it. Seems interesting. It kinda sux to always hear the story of the hero, but never got to see how the bad guys would do.

Re: New GARO Spin-Off in the Works
Actually I'd like to see him obtain Kiba's powers, eat the horrors, make an alliance with the watchdogs and Kodama, and I bet that would even lead into their background a bit.
I’m the one nightmares are afraid of.
