Plot twist. Girl is adult Rin who is praying for her brother. Tsubasa was so much of a bro that he left straight away to look for Kouga because Rei couldn't as he promised to train Raiga.

I dunno, I still think she's Rei's girlfriend or something. In the credits at the end of the episode, her name is listed as Akari. Rin would have been a pretty sweet connection though, especially with the bell thing.

I think the real reason behind the disappearance of Kouga and kaoru may be left intentionally vague, the same way the reason for the garo armor losing its shine in Yami no terasu was simply glossed over with a "used up all it's power fighting a dread battle". That said, since Kouga doesn't have his armor any more, he's most likely dead.

I like how Raiga instinctively knew who the Horror was. his way of explaining is rather logical too.

I made the same connection, especially when Raiga looked in the toy shop window just the way Kouga did. I was half expecting that horror guy with the frog toy to somehow pop up again!

I was just wondering the same exact thing. I hope they really do plan to use Kouga and Kaoru sometime in the series again. But they could also just be kicking around the set, lol.

Apparently they visit the set a lot. There's been other pictures of people showing up for episodes they don't appear in.

They even were in Tougen no fue set, and they don't appear in that movie.

Heck if I was in one of the original Garo casts then I would revisit the new sets and such just to see the new actors.

Great episode. Rei was very likable here. He played the mentor role very well. Just think that he should look a little older though. But then again, Asians don't seem to age no matter how old they are. Lol...

I suspect that the Makai priest in the flashback to Raiga's first Horror hunt is the one who released Eiris.
