Garo Makai no Hana 22 released

Oh, so that's who Akari was praying for. I wonder what significance Raiga's bell is going to play in the upcoming episodes.

Other mysteries are why Busujima Eiji is called Taishi by Crow. The closest meaning that fits seems to be:
Taishi 隊士 (n) regimental soldier. Also, if you saw Kamen Rider G, you might recognize the actor from that. He was also in Tiger Mask, so you might recognize his strange style of speaking from the promo we released.

As the season draws to a close, I kind of wish it were a bit stronger. I like it quite a bit, since it did few things to offend me and there weren't many straight-out bad episodes. But the good episodes are surrounded by ones that might not have been as strong. There's a bunch of stuff I can nitpick, but I think it's been a pretty great season overall.

Kind of seems weird that this episode is called Watchdog. The exchange between Raiga and Cleric Jiiru is one of the highlights of the episode, but I wouldn't say the plot centered around it.

Garo's never been a master class in writing but... Did Raiga never hear the story about the time his dad brought a woman back to life? Also, what's the point of Eiji explaining to Mayuri that he needs her alive for his plan to work, then threatening to cut her down if she resists? And Mayuri tells him to kill her too, even though she knows that he won't. It's just a lot of stupidity within the course of a few minutes. And then later Eiji is like "That woman is safe... for now." He's not a Bond villain. He's a fallen knight who's trying to revive his girlfriend.

Edit:
Maybe spoilers:
SpoilerShow
I was looking up Eiris's voice and her actress had no acting credits as far as I could see. Then I notice she's a fashion model. Who wants to bet Eiris is getting a human form soon?

Wow Show Aikawa, the Zebraman himself... At a first glance I didn't notice that it's him, but after he loses the hat, yeah that's Show for sure.
I still didn't get the the thing about Mayuri and the Eiris seed thingamajig to resurrect his lover. Is she the Priest Lady from the kid Raiga episode?

Completely forgot about the bell thing.

Also, it was a nice fake out with Crow. When I saw the scene in the first episode and when Crow appeared, I figured he was involved. It seemed like an obvious ploy to make, but I'm glad he didn't turn traitor. Looking forward to the fight. Hopefully they give this new guy some sweat armour!

I've loved the MOTW episodes of this season, but if this is everything that Makai no hana has to offer plotwise, it is pretty weak.

The villain's motivations are the basis of the basis, and we've just known him, so we couldn't care less. Hopefully they won't waste Sho Aikawa like that.

I hope there's some plotwist coming.

P.S: Takenoko, who did Kouga brought back to life? As I recall, not Kaoru nor Jabi were actually dead.

I would have to watch White knight beast again, but if I recall correctly, Priest Amon appears and says to Kouga that Jabi is not actually dead, but trapped between life and death inside the Makai tree. Actually that was a plot point of the special, with Tsubasa oposing to Kouga rescuing her because he thought she was completely dead.

Yeah, I realized I had better pictures to use. The picture of Eiji was just the one from the Makai no Hana website, which has been around forever.

Decent setup for the final parts of this show.

Eiji seems to have a lot of powers I don't recall Makai Knights having.

While this series has been fun to watch, it does feel like they got lazy when it came to the overall plot.
