If you were a Makai Knight, what weapon setup would you use?

Personally I like dual swords because it's more versatile and seems more deadly. And it also looks cooler

Maybe it's too much Berserk influence, but when I picked a class to play in Monster Hunter, I picked the Greatsword. I loved it. It was slow, unwieldy, and hard to use. But man did it feel good when you actually landed those big hits.

In Dark Souls II, I played through most of the game with a nice, big Bastard Sword. Again, I like the feel of swinging my big blade and taking out a room full of guys.

I'm not overcompensating for anything?! Why would you think that?!

So I pick single sword. Kouga riding Gouten and changing his sword into the big horse-splitter sword is awesome.

I'd pick a giant hammer, but I suppose we need a weapon with an edge in order to actually "cut" down Horrors... so I guess an Axe is the closest alternative.

I'd go with the single sword too, but I'd also like to add in a shield. I don't know why, but I like the Legend of Zelda fighting style. Plus I love being able to create the big horse slayer.

The ax would be choice two; it's so unique for a Garo series.

A dual sword for me. I know it didn't land one of those big hitter, but I always prefer it's attack speed. If you manage to continuously attack your enemy with the super speed, it will give you some sort of domination in the flow of the battle. Of course, that is all rubbish when your enemy can counter it with a big hitter or has an unlimited stamina....

It would be interesting to see if they would introduce a new Makai armour with soul metal forged gun(s) since Rian got a Makai Gun.

I would have to go with the Dual Swords, in most games, I chose 2 swords for the DPS. I like the idea of "Kill them before they can touch you." Dual Swords are the embodiment of that idea.

For me it was a bit of a Draw between Spear and Priest, gave the Vote to Priest.

I'd have to go with dual blades, although maybe my choice is influenced by my bias Rei. He justs looks so cool! I remember watching Beast of the White Night though and thinking that Tsubasa using a spear was bad ass, it was so different than the usual swords we were use to seeing. Then in Yami wo Terasu Mono, Aguri using a bow was amazing to me! I can't decide which is the best! Oh well, they're all awesome! Can't wait to see what kind of weapons we'll see in the future! Maybe blade tonfa...? ^_^

Single sword, but with one note - how about giving Kouga's scabbard blade a chance in Garo mode? I mean, remember how Vergil from Devil May Cry 3 fights - it's a single katana, no shield, no 2nd blade. Only pure yaido. Such fighting style is much faster than dual swords or claws, and is much more efficient that big blade action (again, remember slice series through air - in this way, hordes of enemies can also be cut). On top of that, it indicates just how accurate (and fast, at the same time) a warrior is. So, katana-style for me.

Probably go for a pole axe. Bladed edge, as well as a spear tip for impaling. Would work well when mounted on horseback as well. May cause some issues fighting out of armour though. Tsubasa makes it work though so it should be okay.

However out of all the weapons seen so far, I'd probably go for the sword, possibly with a shield like Zex.

I picked bow because I'm more if a strategic fighter and I think would give me the most advantage. It comes in handy for distance and if your enemy is close, you can always use it as a blade like the sonic arrow. Speaking of that, we need a forum for Gaim weapons as well!

Dual wielding for me too but I would prefer asymetric combinations like sword with dagger or axe with hammer.
