Garo -Gold Storm- Shou 22 released

Heh, I guess this is why you never see kisses on Japanese TV. Jinga and Amily's was so devoid of passion.
What? Sailor Moon Make Up? She literally becomes the moon? Have to say, I really like the butterfly dress. It's surprisingly not over sexualized and it really is a different look for Amily.
Wow, those two girls from the early episodes are still around. World building? And that truck driver too. Dang! I don't know who these two guys are.
It's... a Transformer! With a metal skull face.
A Madou Brush Guitar? This episode is so wonderfully over the top. Oh... movie connection. Buy the movie, everyone~ It came out last week~
It's shaped like a guitar but he doesn't strum it? Disappointing.
All the guests are coming back. This series is fantastic with its world building.
What? How did Gald get outside the building?
Oh, it's those two chef guys. God, I don't even remember the story they were in.
WTF Yukihime? Also, she made sense this week.
Another choice episode from the best toku series airing right now. There are so many moments that I just want to capture in gif form.

The Brush Guitar kinda reminds me of Mad Max Fury Road
The pacing was great, wasnt so happy that they start the next fight and then episode ends, grrr
I am looking forward to marathon'in this off after the series has ended and we have put the movie out
Jinga is such a great villain, so calm and calculated, kind of reminds me of Khan Noonien Singh in how he goes about everything,

I don't often do this, but I feel really good about the writing I did for this episode. Jinga's got a lot of great lines that make him fun.
My blog's scheduled to post some animated gifs this Friday for this episode, so check those out. Like, subscribe, reblog always helps spread the word:

Hmm...I'm not quite as enthusiastic about the developments this episode. The missile got torn apart because what's-his-name got healed by his dead friend and got him back to the city? Yukihime punched part of a missile out of the sky?
Those gripes aside, Radan Castle was pretty awesome in both its design and movement. Plus, Jinga is one of my favorite Garo villains. I could watch him all day.
I would have bet that Amily's downfall was her arrogance in pulling Rian inside her protective (moon) barrier, but she shoved her right back out. I'm not sure I'm completely following why Radan is so strong by turning night into day.
So, is next week the finale?

It's actually not day, the moon is just so bright that it's lighting everything up. And the moon is what powered mecha Radanformer.

This was actually a really good episode. I like how Jinga has pretty much the exact same way of seating himself on a throne as Decade did. You can tell he's enjoying playing the villain part immensely. Plus the seated fight against Ryuuga was pretty awesome.
I see the castle comes with gimps to umm... spin thread? I'm not entirely sure what they were doing because it didn't seem to affect any of the castle's movements. Still, the sentai-like giant monster is fun and I liked the rockets on its feet.
Madou Guitar Brush was really neat looking. A bit disappointing he just used it basically like a cannon and didn't strum it.
Horray, Yukihime was actually useful this episode.

Turn the crank, power the castle.
Re: Garo -Gold Storm- Shou 22 released
I had goosebumps when I saw preview for the next episode.
I hope Rian will be fine.

Still dreading that inevitable ass pull that will not explain why they suddenly win even though nothing happened to make them stronger than they were ten episodes ago.

Re: Garo -Gold Storm- Shou 22 released
Someone theorized in an early episode that Yukihime is way she is because she is D Ringo's failed attempt at a sex doll or something... well aren't we all glad he used a combat madou doll for his attempt?

Longtime lurker of TVNihon, both watching various series, and of the forums.
Got to say, loved the episode, and hell been loving the series.
Not to thread jack of anything, but searching through the forums about Yukihime, and noticed NO ONE seems to have pointed out one small thing....
Yukihime has a small tattoo of a flower of her left breast. Its been bugging me since she appeared in the series. I had seen her in the previous series as a certain person (with flower motifs), saw the music vids, even some modeling photos. She doesn't have that tattoo. SO could this be a call back to the previous series?

I really didn't notice her tattoo until recently either. I mean, her name means Snow White. Is Snow White associated with any flowers?

Not really. You could make an argument it's for Rose Red, but those two Snow Whites are completely different stories, and only share the same name.

Voted 3 stars. It's a good episode, full of actions, world at stake, everybody got to do something, even Daigo's fallen brother appeared.
My only thing is that other than the world, this final battle doesn't seem to have much going for personal stake. Or perhaps it's because this is my first Garo series that I'm following on a weekly basis, so the excitement loses steam. The ingredients are there, but something felt missing. That death flag preview for next ep is odd, but interesting. Looking forward to that. Hopefully it's not the finale, I'll be okay if it is, but I think another extra ep or so would be nice.
