Wow, that was offensive to watch. To put in context, I've only seen an episode of Ghost, so maybe the characters are a lot more appealing in the main show, but this special seemed juvenile, annoying, and mean spirited. I mean, fat jokes, really? Oh, the fat lady is constantly eating. The weirdo monk is in love with the fat woman. Hilarious!

I sometimes get the sense that Toei's appeal to kids is to do things to be as annoying as possible. "They're kids, they love to be annoying." That's sort of what I don't like about a lot of American entertainment for kids. I feel like it's talking down to them.

This is one of those things where it's not really funny unless you know Japanese but even then it's not that funny. The puns are hard to translate and even when you understand it, it's not particularly funny. The first part was kinda interesting but once we got about 3 minutes in it's a bit tedious.

Personally, I wish the whole special had been like the very start when the gang was dressed up as different eyecon heroes; it peaked imo when Sage was singing as Beethoven. The rest got grating though when the dialogue..... became... like.... this.... and the amount of on-screens that I had to time.

I learned that Onari likes the meaty ones. What this say about Buddha priests?

I am an unapologlic fan of this. The HBV are meant to be crazy and this is no exception.

This reminded me of Nossan's old man puns and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not...

Very boring indeed. Most of the puns are lame.

I think the best part was the fight.

I also liked when akari got bitchslapped by the ganma, something i hate about this shows is when one of the non fighters of the show are able to fight and defeat the enemy henchmen, i mean Akari is not supposed to be skilled in battle like Kiriko, Taki or any of the other characters that actually have a reason to do it.
