Shallow answer is shallow, despite my preference for legs, mermaid with a human top and shark bottom... I mean, perfect world it'd be like, a mermaid bottom just below the... never mind.

Like a cyborg? I think most people would legitimately find that aesthetically unpleasant. Part of our algorithm for detecting beauty is looking for symmetry in faces and so on.
