In all seriousness, with teeth like that, that poor girl should have been in braces 6-8 years ago. You want to correct that early, as it's far easier to do it at the start of adolescence when the teeth are still coming in and moving into place. Though I can completely get not wanting them now since she's on screen. Ideally it would have been solved before now, as braces as an adult will be a lot less fun.

The dental health really does need help in Japan. A lot of parents don't even brush their kid's teeth because the baby teeth will fall out anyway. Of course this leads to bad habits and rotten teeth. A couple kids get braces but still the majority wait for adulthood

Dammit... i clicked on 3 stars by accident..

Intro aside, i really enjoyed the OP, always liked the Sentai's opening themes. Cubes and coins are all the rage now, huh? Why is it that every sentai's enemies are aliens from outer space? That always gets me... the enemies' uses of coins is so OOO, not that its a bad thing. I kinda felt sorry when Amu and Tusk's mechas couldn't form a gattai with Yamato, Leo, and Sera

Still, they managed to make the blocky toys look cool in the show, so I'm good.

Oh, and Amu is my new Sentai girl faves now.. hmm

I'll give this a 5 of course!

God it's been such a long time...

I fell like Jyuohger is going to be a great series, like any anniversary series should be!

Everyone's pointing out the obvious games motif the series has (dies, coins and continues, etc.) but during the first fight I noticed something cool (and maybe intentional befitting the whole games motif) in that the enemy ships are shaped like pyramids and the heroes are cubes, kind of becoming a subtle shout out into 3D vs 2D graphics in videogames (pyramids=triangles=polygons used mainly in 3D graphics and cubes=squares=bitmaps used mainly in 2D graphics). The fact that the MOTW was made of spikes (triangles, and not forgetting the SUBTLE nod to Megaman) and the whole megazord looks like something out of a NES game kind of reinforce it...

There were a lot of people who when the rumors came were hesitant but I feel like most of that has gone away now and the majority of people are liking it. The block stuf is weird but I am betting it will get better.

Took me a while to understand that Jyuman is a pun on human. I was wondering why the plural was not Jyumen.

Also, as for the whole Jagd business, Jagd means hunt. As in the hunt you go on. Hunter is Jäger and "to hunt" is jagen.

i started watching zyuranger and hell if ive seen daizyujin yet, and im at ep 10.

Daizyujin debuts on episode 6, though.

then i must be ... ok! so the last episode i watched was they just got the power weapons from that island where if you are there for too long you become stone. i know thats got to be past 5 episodes. in fact i watch in 5 episode installments ... :C now im confused....

its a very strong sounding J in that Jyu, but everywhere is Zyu. im also curious what that pillar that comes down with the sword in it that makes up the mecha is, and where it comes from. and the red eagle/hawk guy and the potential role he may play is exciting too. geki/gao combi is working for me!
