Huh, less votes last week than before. Were people just not hyped because of the gattai special or are people falling off the Jyuohger wagon already?

I thought this week's episode was pretty good. Pretty good trick with Sela falling prey to the attack first, then being the only one immune to it since she overprepared.

Leo stealing the guy's headphones was pretty silly. Especially when it appears to not be connected to anything after he does the backflip. I think the implication is the music continues, but the viewer can't hear it, since Leo does appear to be dancing to something when he's talking to Daisuke.

I liked the monster of the week's ability to move his mouth.

I will be disappointed in our fanbase if someone doesn't do a dirty mashup of Daisuke asking Leo if he can touch "it"

I thought this was a really cute and fun episode. I have been hesitant with Jyuohger so far, after the disappointment that was Ninninger, but I think it is winning me over. I am in love with how the bad guys blow up into little cubes when defeated.

Not going to lie, but after the tail touching scene between Leo and Daisuke many an idea for cute couple illustrations popped into my head, and maybe some dirty ones too.

This episode made me like Leo. It only took 8 episodes, unlike Ninninger which took about 30 episodes for me to like Nagi. Now the question is, will Tusk's character ever become likeable?

I really liked Leo even before this week, and I am glad I have not been disappointed.

As I have mentioned before, the Jyuohger all contribute to a scene with their vibrant personalities, whether they are that week's focus or not.

King and Wild side-by-side. Some cool stuff. Oh and I loved Yamato pushing the visor down to revert to Eagle. Slick.

Sela's still my favourite of the bunch, so it was nice to see the writers playing up on her personality. Not only did her over-compensation save her, but that extra debate about not being able to see was great. I also had to laugh when she reacted to Leo in the background at the end. Having someone in the background reacting is an important detail many directors forget about, and it really added to the continuity.

They actually sort of explained this. At 1:46, you can see a very tiny iPod fall out of Daisuke's pocket as Leo is turning to dance. So the theory is that when he did the flip, the ipod simply landed soewhere in he folds of his clothes. At around 2:09, the song ends so there's no longer any need to show the headphones connected to anything.

Hopefully Daisuke will be a recurring character. I really liked that aspect in Kiva, and it's nice to see a Jyuman making a human friend (albeit one that likes playing tickle the tail...)

Wow, an episode where Tusk's voice is tolerable.
They should have more episodes where Elephant is raging so his acting feels natural. lmao

But seriously, I know they're supposed to be mostly new actors, but they should at least put them in an acting workshop.
Elephants are supposed to be calm, wise, and strong but Tusk's actor is just perpetually raging in every scene.
He's starting to be like the Takaharu for this show. And I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing trend for Super Sentai.

I'm more intrigued by the mask that Sela's wearing to counter the monster's attack. I feel like it's familiar but I can't remember. Maybe that mask is the mask of past Blue Ranger? Given that Jyuohger is the anniversary series, it's probably bound to be a homage to previous series probably Liveman.....

The typical sentai episode... it was good but not great. This show sure have a high budget because every single episode is full of specials effects and the effects looks a lot better this year.

i hope we see more of daisuke too. in fact i hope all the jyuman make human friends, so at the end of the year, they can look back and think of the new friends and use that to strengthen their resolve to press on and beat the final whoever comes down the pipe.
i kind of felt leo took a page from amu to explore our culture a bit in the terms of liking our music. i hope that too becomes a trend.

Gotta love this episode! I like how put every minute detail in each episode... especially if Sela's around should Leo be sreaming and all.

You can pretty much tell by context, pararira is the sound a trumpet makes.

Also pera pera means someone is good at speaking a language.

That's neat since peropero is the sound of someone licking (like you see the word associated a lot with lollipops).
