Sub Title - Girls aren't into Matadors, Hemingway

I'm glad Yamato's breakdown didn't last the whole episode, that would have been intolerable. Hey, we get a Naria episode, and she's rad! She uses nunchuks with lasers at the end of them, instead of some girly bow or something. Nice! Thank you, Naria!

I know Yamato had to wait so he could witness his uncle doing something badass, but he really should have just transformed and started kicking ass. Also, is it me or is Mario less crazy in the past? Maybe all those years of smelling art chemicals affected his brain.

Why did they show us the whole frigging combination for Wild JyuohKing?! What a pacing disaster. It also clashed badly with the song. Terrible editing choice!

Man, sucks to be those Jyumans. At least bird man and Larry chose to give up their power to Yamato. Those guys are either going to be old or dead.

Speaking of which, about the next episode preview:
Spoiler
It was spoiled before the show even started, but it's finally coming. I'm sad that the new ranger isn't a Jyuman though. Still waiting for the day either a main red ranger or a new ranger is female. Come on, three males, three females, it's not that hard.

Good, we get to see Naria do something besides put coins into a slot.

So surely Mario noticed that JyuohEagle sounded a bit too much like his nephew. Also, how come the citizens don't know that the Jyuohgers exist? Surely something like frequent monster attacks in the city would be noticed by someone (I guess that's just Toku logic, videocameras/reporters don't exist in the Sentai world).

Spoiler
Yay, 6th ranger time. I find this is when the story really starts to pick up and gets a lot more interesting. But a fishing rod??? Last year a guitar as a weapon, this year a fishing rod....okay

Can someone please explain to me what the pic in the home page meant (the one for this episode)?

LOL! Don't you know?

Hirata Yuka's fanart (or Twitter post) of Jan/GekiRed, Rio and Mele doing Jyuoh Dance.

No. Never knew. Haha. Thanks!

I wonder will the 3 jyuman survive after being forced to part their powers.

Looks like there are more jyuman on earth. Not exclusive to japan only.

Genis having that evil cube, where did he get that?

Perhaps living alone & locking himself up in a tree house drove Mario insane.

Spoiler
finally, we've hit June for 6th ranger. face change for the 6th too!

Given that it was obviously a Naria episode from the start, I am actually a bit disappointed with it. Her cold personality doesn't really translate into anything happening on screen, so she's just sort of there doing her job instead of us learning something more about the character. Cubal and Azul were fleshed out far better in their focus episodes.
Also, is it me or is Mario less crazy in the past? Maybe all those years of smelling art chemicals affected his brain.
It's not just you. I wish Mario were less crazy in the present, as well. This show already has plenty of comic relief in the Jyumans. I' think I would prefer he was the more sensible mentor type all the time.

Now there's someone who would be nice to have back. She absolutely killed it as Mele, and could sing as well. Over the years there haven't been too many stand-out actresses in Sentai like her.

The whole reason I noticed her was because she's in the new Bleach Rock Musical as Captain Unohana. You might see some other names you know as well:

lol ... I really love to see Gekiranger's Kensei meeting our Zyumans. Their interactions would be funny, like between Erohan Kinpo and Tusk or Sharkie Chan and Sela. As far as I know, Gorrie Yen and Larry have the same suit actor.

Welp, is this the first time Yamato lost his cool?

This ep reminded me of Gokaiger's Insaan and Jealoushitto haha

Am I the only one who is ever so slightly disturbed by the way Naria caresses the coin slot after using a continue?

Seriously though I really enjoyed this episode and I hope that we start to see Naria as more of a commander than Insaan was in Gokaiger. my only problems were the pacing of the mecha fight, Tusk sniffing around like a Dog, and the confirmation that indeed they just stand around as Naria causally strolls up to the MoTW and uses the continue.

The ending surprised me at first but it's nice to have the 'forced into power' 6th member and hopefully he won't be turned quickly to good mainly as the story pacing this year has been decent, like not finding bird man again, not knowing the full extent of Yamato's history/parents and so forth.

Next week is going to be an interesting one in terms of both Sentai and KR and I can't wait :D

yes i called it, he's a bad guy! woohoo!

the cube genis has could be anything, but im guessing artificial mark of the king? it stands to reason when he goes to a planet to play his blood games he may take "prizes" from those worlds if they pike his interest, or could seem useful.

Yamato losing his cool for a change and the jyumen calming him was nice. and they even threw in how they have some level of care for uncle mario too ....

Yamato alone is looking for birdman while they are chilling at home. i think Amu got to them.

I'm perfectly fine with Naria just being a secretary who would murder people for the most part. Not everyone needs to have character development.

Just think if they were able to catch more Jyumen hiding in the world. Instead of 3 we could be dealing with JyuohNoahsArk.
