For the most part, still doesn't make sense... until the sequence where Jin "kills" Nanaha.
Jin biting into Nanaha's neck... Jin eating her monster form's tentacles and eventually killing her.
Jin's hugging Nanaha as he's "eating her"... Same thing happens without her being bitten on during their last moments.
Jin pushing Nanaha away... The inverse happens to save Jin from the explosion caused by the Heavy Scattershot round.
The 2nd opening... Nothing.
