So something is up with our Protag that lets him transform without the operation? Would explain why Poppy was surprised in the first episode. Might have something to do with his accident as a child.

Also, it shames me to say it took me this long to realise Hironobu Kageyama was the belt voice. Him saying 'Jet' over and over again is unmistakable.

Alt title- Snipe gets a jet! or The plot finally gets interesting!

Up to this point, Ex-Aid has been nothing but cool action scenes and no plot with little backstory after the level 3 reveal for me. With the twist at the end, I finally feel like we're getting somewhere. Not much else to say.

Man there's so much crazy CGI and toy parts flying at the screen that it actually kind of hurts my eyes. Even if they're shooting for a young kids audience I really can't imagine that this is all that great. They need some plot. Kids aren't stupid. They can enjoy some flashy action but you got to give them some context and something to stimulate their imagination.

Another round of bike becomes man vs man fusing with bike.
I also enjoyed Snipe bullet hopping the power-up over to the knocked out Bugster, that was fun.

It really feels like they're rushing the pacing of this show to the detriment of character development. Brave seems like the only character we have any investment in, and he just sees like the typical stoic secondary rider with a sad backstory we've seen done much better before in other series

. It just seems like they're trying desperately to recreate Gaim, and it's not working for me so far. I hope this series picks up soon.

Just when I thought things were less confusing, they got more confusing. This episode was 20 minutes of Snipe gunning destruction for the sake of destruction. And 2 minutes of Genm CEO explaining about some surgery process to become a Rider, which Emu skipped. (Or not)

When Dan explained to Kiriya how he's trying to understand the Bugsters and how they came to be, I was lost. Isn't he working with them?

Oh well, thought we were going somewhere with the plot, guess not. Next week looks to be another action pack (plot-less) episode.

I enjoyed it, but I do feel like the series is moving a little too quickly. Kinda worried they're going to pull a Ghost again by having someone get all the gashats in the 12th episode or something, then having a bunch of nothing after that.

For those complaining about the lack of characterization, they seem to be going for something more subtle here (at least compared to Brave's backstory).

Snipe's motivation is mirroring that of the victim in this episode, so it's a nice nod to that.
