Seems that the story took place after Orb movie... in which the so-called "Reiblood-god kaiju, or something?" is doing something to those who were defeated by the Ultramen.

as for the mini episode, it was ok. The Lightning Attacker form Orb has looks cool, a little off that they didn't use stock footage of how Gai usually scans the first card and the second card but hey whatever works for forms that debut in a video game, but is Orb pulling a Gaia & Agul on me or something since his voice did felt altered in terms of pitch whenever he grunts, not unlike how Gaia and Agul sound like their human vessels when speaking but when grunting or screaming they sound way deeper, come to think of it I find it odd how Gamu shouting Gaia his pitch tends to get higher and higher as he gets older

its really felt good seeing lightning attacker on screen furthermore with subs!! yaaaayy

You know Alien Reiblood? Unless you watched Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle series.

i only watched zero 1st movie where theres 2 alien reiblood left

It's good to see the Ultra Series again, even if it felt a little low-budget (the preceding Ultra Fight Victory felt a lot flashier, despite its being spun off of a way less successful series). Also nice to see Zero again? I really thought I'd have more to say on this. The effects on the subtitles look really great. Not sure how much there is to say about this, but I do like it that they're borrowing from some more Ultraman mythology with the Reiblood.

Indeed. The descriptions on their Origin Saga YouTube previews kept mentioning the international release (I think March was the last one), but nothing since then.

Zero bought back my hype for the Ultraman series, the movies and OVA's were outstanding, the fight scenes were so flashy and the introduction of Zero's allies were just amazing, then came Ginga lol!, then i lost all interest again, haven't seen X, currently watching Orb but maybe i should stop doing that and see X first lol!

X is pretty good but it's episodic, sort of Ultra Q in its set-up; more focused on the kaijuu than the Ultraman or the attack team. But I still highly recommend it, it has some good stories to tell.

funny since that's why I didn't like X, it being my first Ultraman series just made it worse for me, I may give it another chance once I see more Ultraman series

Oh it's definitely not for everyone, but once I came to terms with those facts I was able to enjoy X a lot more.

(I'm over here still waiting for Mebius pt 2, sooo...)
