Gentoku's classmate is obviously a lot older than him. Couldn't they have hired someone in the same age bracket? Or at least someone who could pass for being in college for the flashback scene?

I hate this miniseries as people do hate JarJar and/or Kylo...

Hotei was unnecessary. Fleshing out Gentoku's disagreements with his father would have been a decent startup.

Katsuragi begins to doubt his initial cooperation with Faust. Better implied in the TV series, not this one.

I mean, it was better than the Snipe one at lease? My issue with this is the only thing I really wanted to see was how Gentoku becomes Night Rogue. It's implied that Stark does something to him offscreen but it's never explained.

The guy that played Genotkus friend also played Raias friend that got eaten in Ryuki.

I liked this. I wonder how the next one will flesh out. also, does anyone else notice we're not getting a Superhero Taisen crossover?

It's definitely better than KR Snipe. Snipe was terrible, whereas this is genuinely decent. The fact that it's basically the length of a full episode helps a lot; Snipe episodes were rather rushed for how little was going on.

Still, the usual point stands: this really should have been in the series proper. Prequel series in this fashion just aren't working.

Maybe instead they should do an animated Kamen Rider and Pretty Cure crossover?
