What is a good series to start with?

I've been watching Tokusatsu for the past 10+ years, starting with Sentai, getting into Kamen Rider quickly afterwards, Rescue Force, a little bit of Rescue Fire, Keitai Sousakan 7, and most recently into Garo. I have liked most of what I have seen so far. I haven't seen anything from Ultraman nor know anything about it though. What would be a good starting place for me to get into it?

I'd recommend Tiga, then Dyna (sequel to Tiga) as a warm-up. They're both pretty decent all round.

Then you should check out the best series, which are Nexus (pretty much everyone's favorite) and Gaia. They are not very conventional series, which is why I didn't suggest them to be your first series.

I liked Nexus because it was a bit darker than the usual Ultramen series.

Yeah, but you kind of need to watch some of the more conventional series to appreciate it.

Xiiliea has it correct. Definitely start with Tiga.

I've only finished Ultraseven so far and I liked it, so I suggest that.
