Man, that looks awesome. It's like the animation quality of the Leon vs Alfonso throughout the movie.

I was afraid that it was going to be like Red Requiem, focused only on Leon, but we have every character here. Very excited about this flick.

the new character dario,
my first impression about his armor is that it doesnt look like makai knight armor at all,
other then that,Alphonso new horse is quite cool
just hope leon will get his horse

I LOVE this movie & make me confirmed that Honoo no Kokuin is probably the 2nd BEST series of Garo after the original.
and in terms of character & story development, this is perhaps THE BEST

well the movie is good. even the whole series is good. compare to Guren no Tsuki perhaps is like heaven and earth for these 2 Garo animated series.

F**k this. I just make it a spoiler thread, so feel free to discuss about this movie.

Think it's an okay movie, since it's about Leon in another adventure after German's son Roberto was kidnapped by some unknown black guys.

Boobies in the animated movie and the naked beautiful Horror is the main villain.

I ended up watching it the other day and felt it was good but it had its problems. There wasn't a point to using Roberto as a sacrifice in activating the ring. The movie didn't really explained why Roberto had to be the sacrifice and could have used any other random person. Now the weirdest part of the whole movie was towards the end when the big final boss emerged and suddenly Leon lost his right arm. You see him in one shot with both arms and when he shields Ximeria and Roberto, he has only his left arm. Usually you show the arm being cut off but not in this case for some reason. Also the Garo upgrade was more Deus Ex Machina than usual with no explanation.

I also feel like this movie was a homage to Beast of the White Night special since it came out on the 10th anniversary of Beast of the White Night. This might be me seeing something that may not be the case due to watching Beast of the White Night several days before that but here some comparisons.

-Leon's first appearance in the movie is very similar to Kouga's first appearance in Beast of the White Night with them hunting a Horror pretending to be a victim of an abusive guy
-Roberto being a key kid character even though he was more kidnapped bait compared to Rin from Beast of the White Night (she was also kidnapped bait but did more)
-German coming back from the dead just like Amon
-Zem having a spear just like Dan

indeed its not as good as Leon Journey in the series, especially about how he find his way to become a decent garo.
it's just nice to see that German is back.

anyway, i do think Garo should took different approach for enemy identity in their next project. a friend/harmless person who suddenly become a big bad final boss route are being taken too much in my opinion
